Morning all -

After a climb into the yellows by bedtime last night, the girl is back to blues this morning. Hooray for Emma!

This weekend I was experimenting with her food. On a normal work day I leave plenty of food for her and pick it up when I get home, which is right around +10. On Saturday I left her food down til +6 in both cycles. Her numbers looked good, though she was pretty unhappy with me during the AM cycle that day :? Yesterday I was gone for a good part of the day so she had food til +10 again. Her numbers later in the cycle were still pretty good, even having a green PMPS. She did climb into the yellows pretty quickly after that though. Last night I picked up her dish at bedtime (+4.5), and she's blue this morning. So, I don't know what conclusion to draw from my experiment, but it's interesting. I still don't dare to set her timed feeder to close after +6 when I'm not home. I don't know how quickly she's going to come down the dosing ladder, and she's on such a high dose (8.25) it makes me nervous!

She was a happy kitty this morning when I left, all snuggled up in her bed on the couch. I wish I was there too....all this snow is depressing :YMSIGH: And we're getting another 15-20" Tuesday and Wednesday. I really need to think about moving!

I'd be depressed with all that snow too. We bought a new snowblower this year preparing for a winter and DH has had to use it on fluff just so he could use it. (vs taking ten minutes to shovel). You guys are keeping all the snow, and we thank you for that.

Emma is doing great. I don't have any advice for the feeding experiment. Hope you figure things out and she adjusts down the dosing ladder.

I just love her white feet in her picture.

Happy Monday.

This is such a beautiful AMPS for Emma!!! Interesting on the food. Nothing like a happy kitty....I hope your day goes well and you get back home safely before all the snow hits. Yikes...so many of you in its path!

What a nice start for Emma today - great amps. I just love seeing her in these numbers.

no conclusions here on your food experiment, but it is interesting.

and bummer on the weather - I cannot believe all the snow that you guys continue to get... It has to be one of the worst winters ever. Stay warm, stay safe.
