Morning all -
After a climb into the yellows by bedtime last night, the girl is back to blues this morning. Hooray for Emma!
This weekend I was experimenting with her food. On a normal work day I leave plenty of food for her and pick it up when I get home, which is right around +10. On Saturday I left her food down til +6 in both cycles. Her numbers looked good, though she was pretty unhappy with me during the AM cycle that day :? Yesterday I was gone for a good part of the day so she had food til +10 again. Her numbers later in the cycle were still pretty good, even having a green PMPS. She did climb into the yellows pretty quickly after that though. Last night I picked up her dish at bedtime (+4.5), and she's blue this morning. So, I don't know what conclusion to draw from my experiment, but it's interesting. I still don't dare to set her timed feeder to close after +6 when I'm not home. I don't know how quickly she's going to come down the dosing ladder, and she's on such a high dose (8.25) it makes me nervous!
She was a happy kitty this morning when I left, all snuggled up in her bed on the couch. I wish I was there too....all this snow is depressing :YMSIGH: And we're getting another 15-20" Tuesday and Wednesday. I really need to think about moving!
