Yesterday's green was short-lived and Elian is now paying for it, apparently with his highest numbers yet. I'm not freaking out....yet.... thanks to Caryl, but I am concerned. I just hope that some day soon he will be in a "normal", comfortable range. I'm being patient but it sure seems like it's been forever although he was only diagnosed in December and didn't get his first dose of "juice" until January 8. I'm a worried mom.

Morning guys sorry for the bounce but it happens take a look at Scrabble's ss. I know it is worrisome but you are doing all you can. Mr P and Mr L are just in panic mode. Have a great day and try to put the patient pants on. Take care.

Hi guys .. oh I know how hard it is to see these high numbers  Mocha had her share as well .. But just remember, you saw green before, you'll see green again .. and again and again .. and each time will bring fewer and fewer of these higher numbers .. it's all about being patient .. hang in there!

Such an emotional roller coaster we're on. Elian just needs more time. The high numbers are scary, for sure. It's good that he's reacting to the insulin, at least. Remain diligent and consistent - you WILL get to better, flatter numbers. Hope he has a better PM cycle!

Believe me my friend, you'd rather see what you're seeing than the 24 I saw before. Like I said, as soon as E hit 63 the bounce began. E isn't used to being a diabetic yet and he's not used to medication doing the work of his pancreas. He will get used to it and his liver will start to understand that low numbers are okay but it takes time. You'll start seeing lower numbers again by tomorrow I think. Like I said, just test for ketones when the number are high. (which I'm sure he won't get because these highs aren't real...they are just bounces). confused_cat confused_cat confused_cat confused_cat

ps..the lows are much scarier but you have to go through them too if you ever want E to go into remission. It's all part of the dance dancing_cat
