The one you have was for 1-28 instead of 1-29
But good job posting
I hope Snuggles stays safe too
Just looked at your spreadsheet you have nothing filled in for last night, or this morning.
Don't forget to fill everything in when you get home![]()
I’m home now…I’m leaving around 10am..going in a little later. I will check BS at 9am and give her some food and then recheck BS at 10am..and leave 2 snacks for today..I am just worried because yesterday she been dropped about 135 points between 7am and 3pm. @Diane Tyler's MomShe should be fine you left all the food out, since you only have the 2 slot feeder did you leave her a dish out before you left ?
I also noticed she’s not really drinking water…I’ve been adding water to her wet food. She was drinking constantly now nothing really on her own last 24 hours. Ugghh @Diane Tyler's Mom @Sienne and Gabby (GA)OK so you are going to check her @+2 (9 AM) give a snack then test again @+ 3 (10 AM ) correct?
But this morning her BS was 217…and if she drops 135 or more points is what I’m worried about. @Sienne and Gabby (GA) @Diane Tyler's MomSandy --
She may have dropped 135 points but Snuggles was still in very safe numbers.
Ok! Good to know! @Diane Tyler's MomI remember you said you're a nurse , I don't know how late you can go in .
I don't know if anyone has mentioned to you that if you get a pre shot test that is under 200 ( since you are new to this and just starting out taking Snuggles BG and see how she reacts to it) you would stall (don't feed ) wait 20 minutes and test
again to see if the BG comes up on it's own
You would post HELP STALLING then the BG
It's most likely because she's seeing better numbers, Tyler never drinks water ,so I always have to put it in his food. He's a weirdo lolI also noticed she’s not really drinking water…I’ve been adding water to her wet food. She was drinking constantly now nothing really on her own last 24 hours. Ugghh @Diane Tyler's Mom @Sienne and Gabby (GA)
I see that's the lowest pre shot you have gotten so far , taking away the Meow Mix dry has helped, I know you're worried , but you are going to feed her before you leave for work and also have the auto feeder with some of the Hills C/D wet mixed with low carb wet so she should be fine. But this morning her BS was 217…and if she drops 135 or more points is what I’m worried about. @Sienne and Gabby (GA) @Diane Tyler's Mom
+2 BS 240. Just a worrier at heart! Thank you so much! @Diane Tyler's MomI see that's the lowest pre shot you have gotten so far , taking away the Meow Mix dry has helped, I know you're worried , but you are going to feed her before you leave for work and also have the auto feeder with some of the Hills C/D wet mixed with low carb wet so she should be fine.
That's ok to be worried , that's the food bump . Don't forget to update your title with the +2 number ok+2 BS 240. Just a worrier at heart! Thank you so much! @Diane Tyler's Mom

Well she did stay safe, is this the first time you used the auto feeder? Does she know to go to it when she years it open?Thank you! So…Snuggles did not eat afternoon snacks…my husband checked on her at home and nope..wouldn’t eat. He tried but she wanted to sleep. I checked BS at 5pm..374? Ugghh @Diane Tyler's Mom @Sienne and Gabby (GA) @Bron and Sheba (GA) @Hendrick Cuddleclaw
Well my husband said he would be home and he would just feed her…maybe since I fed her some at 9 she wasn’t hungry. He said would would try to be home at snack times to feed her this week. She acted like she was starving when I came home so I gave her a Purebites treat. Still being her ornery self! I’m wondering about the low number this morning..could it have been a fluke? @Diane Tyler's MomWell she did stay safe, is this the first time you used the auto feeder? Maybe she just wasn't hungry .
Let's see what her PMPS is
I’m wondering about the low number this morning..could it have been a fluke? @Diane Tyler's Mom
Thank you for the quick response! @Hendrick Cuddleclawwhat are you wondering?
IMO not a fluke. Looks like she is responding very well to 1U of insulin so far but also it is very early so probably too soon to tell. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and you are only just barely at the starting gun. But to see pinks and yellows right out of the gate gives me a great deal of optimism for your kitty! Many people have spreadsheets that are all red and black in the beginning.
Actually my husband made sure he was home to feed her this week and he tried different things but she was not having it. @Bron and Sheba (GA)Is it the auto feeder she is not eating from?
When I first bought Sheba’s auto feeder, I fed her all her meals from it so she associated the feeder with food.
Do you mean she wouldn’t eat out of the feeder?Actually my husband made sure he was home to feed her this week and he tried different things but she was not having it. @Bron and Sheba (GA)
No..since he was going to feed her it wasn’t in the feeder. @Bron and Sheba (GA)Do you mean she wouldn’t eat out of the feeder?
Oh I’m sure she will eat..she’s already wanting to eat..so I gave her Purebites snack. So, she may be mad at me! @Diane Tyler's MomMaybe she's mad at you for going back to work
I'm curious to see if she eats for you since you're home now
I would try using the feeder for everything and see if that works, including any treatsNo..since he was going to feed her it wasn’t in the feeder. @Bron and Sheba (GA)
Ok..I can do that. The only thing is I have another kitty…but I can try to figure something out. I’m open for suggestions….@Bron and Sheba (GA)I would try using the feeder for everything and see if that works, including any treats
