Mikey seems none the worse for wear so I'm not feeling as guilty that I got home too late at lunch to catch him borderline hypo in time yesterday. I'm going home again today to test him on my lunch (earlier this time) and then I'm working from home tomorrow and he's gained a bit more weight these last couple of days so I think we'll be okay at this dose a little longer. It's really nice seeing 3 days in a row of blues and greens during his nadir for him even though His Royal Grumpiness's mood still hasn't caught up with his pretty numbers.
Because I'm absent-minded, I've also now lost my camera so I haven't been able to get any video of Mikey's suspected hyperesthesia to show to the vet. Also, no new pics of them.
Another Hank and Mikey story: This morning, Henry was being insufferable as he tried to wake me up to get me to feed him...at 5:30 in the morning. Lots of lovely kitten kisses and burrowing under the covers and against my neck...at 5:30 in the morning. Such a Sweetie-Pie and I love how he wakes me up so gently...except when it's 5:30 IN THE MORNING! So I kicked him out of my room. Around 7ish, Michelangelo starts meowing at me quite a bit. This doesn't seem odd if it weren't for the fact that the only time he meows is when he's talking to a wall, to a fence, or to one of his damn mice toys. And even then, it's not a full conversation like he was doing this morning. I finally roll out of bed to see what the fuss was all about, besides it now being his morning shot time. I open the door of my room and Mikey bolts out and halfway down the stairs where he runs into Henry. They sniff each other's nose and then they do their dancing_cat "happy dance" dancing_cat together and start to play. Aw! Mikey was missing Henry this morning when they were separated!
