Good Morning everyone in L&L Land!

Unreal cold up North at home in Michigan this morning -7 ... and getting colder all day! :arghh: I feel so badly for family and friends there. I know they have to go to work and of course I worry...just have to remember, I used to do it too. Lots of things closing there - the University of Michigan campus has shut down all classes, labs, training, etc. Unfortunately that does not include the medical center so all the folks I work with are required to get in to work today unless they're non-essential. Prayers for all of them today.:bighug:

Luci is of course, being Luci - she continues to amaze me with her swan dives. Yesterday her 2+ was 239 - sigh - another day of languishing. I checked her two hours later and stunningly she's at 82!:eek: 82!!!:eek::eek::eek: She loves her dramatics! I of course want to panic and run for the MC...but I'm sticking with the LC and circle back for a quick check...and she's surfing right along in the 80's....what a gal!:rolleyes: Gives her old mama a heart attack every day...whew!!! :facepalm:

Let's see what today holds...for one thing our weather here is warming...nice comfy 60 degree start...80's in our forecast soon...aaahhh...worth the drive:cat::cat:

You had asked about Dr. Elsey's Clean Protein kibble yesterday. I've also seen around 5% for the chicken and 9% for the salmon. Hogan has been eating the Dr. Elsey's chicken version along with Young Again Zero Mature since he started on insulin, and it doesn't seem to have much of an effect on his numbers, so I think 5% is probably accurate.

Thanks but I have to give credit for that idea to @Rosie & Bailey! I too thought that was interesting and very valuable information to track separately. I'm having a difficult time figuring out when exactly she hits nadir - I'm hoping over time to see a pattern...:)

I'm surprised it's colder here in Chicago than it is in Michigan! 2AM it was 20 Degrees below Zero & has stayed at that temp all day ,with the wind blowing! Tonight 24 below :arghh:

I think Luci & Ravan went to the same drama school! He just got thru a weird bounce. High then low in blue & then back up again. I really never know what to expect!
 
Hope Luci clears the bounce and hits the lagoon tonight so that she can maintain that 100% days at the lagoon streak.
29/30 is not bad, but 30/30 is better. :D

Yep, she lost out on a couple of days with that dose decrease - I didn't think she'd earned that...but I couldn't dispute those numbers either - DH wasn't testing as often as I would have been under the circumstances so it might have been avoided with food manipulation - but she'll have another chance today to get her 29th visit to the lagoon - it's already a record breaking month for her - she's NEVER done this well before! I'm proud of her already. :D I wish she'd stop with the dramatics though - take a look at her swan dive routine last night! :eek::eek: Crazy cat!!
