yesterday

Ohhhh I am not happy with this and again I'm sure it's from yesterday's 200 point drop. Not sure if I should be doing anything differently?

Mr. Sebastian is fine and all p's are A-OK
Have a great day. I have a migraine and have to lie down before I have to start work :YMSIGH:

Re: 1/3 Sebastian AMPS 278

Sebastian seems a wee bit bouncy! I'm not sure if you should do anything differently, either...I'm not at all familiar with Lev, but you are seeing some greens on this dose. I wonder if his liver just needs some time to settle down and get used to those normal numbers again.

I hope your migraine goes away ASAP. Have a great day, Caryl!

Thanks Amy
ANOTHER 200 point drop early. You'd think with a 278 he wouldn't go that low. He at a whole can of FF chicken by himself with his shot. I just gave him a snack of 1/2 can FF beef and liver at this reading. He loves his food maybe he's playing me.

I just don't have any ideas unless i shave some off of this dose and see if that flattens him out? I don't think split shots would help at his point? I'm attaching his OLD spreadsheet. Actually I can't link his old ss cause I don't own it :(

Any opinions?

Back to bed still have killer migraine and this ain't helping ohmygod_smile

Re: 1/3 Sebastian AMPS 278,+3.5-68, +6.5-59!!! Eyes PLZ

I don't know what to suggest. I don't have enough experience with this kind of bouncing.

Caryl:

How/when are you feeding?

It may also be helpful to get a +11. It may be that you're shooting a dropping number or that Sebastian has an early nadir. If the latter is the case, it's just a matter of knowing that he drops early. Marje's experience with Gracie is that her nadir is at +15 (so it may, more accurately, be a late nadir with Lev).

Today his nadir appeared to be at +6.5
It has been much later but not for the last couple of days
I feed him when he gets his shots
Today I fed him a little at +3.5 and +6.5 to try to slow him down (low carb) but normally with shots and a snack in between and a snack at night before bed

PS if you scroll up a little you'll see that I have a test today at +10

Re: 1/3 Sebastian AMPS 278,+3.5-68,PMPS-198

Hi Caryl,
Congrats on adopting Sebastian! He's a lucky kitty to have a furever home.

I find with Rusty that if he has bounced, he will often then drop quickly. Usually the numbers he drops to are in the range I like to see (moderate greens). I think they go through stages with these bounces and drops. Rusty used to have nice shallow curves, but after several mild cases of pancreatitis he is less predictable. He will go along for about 2 weeks with great cycles and then, wham, numbers all over the place. Changes in routine will set him off. His nadir (on Lev.) seems usually to occur between +6 and +9. I've more or less given up trying to figure it out. I just try to be consistent and I do not feed a variety of foods--just a couple of old standbys (Wellness turkey or chicken; FF Turkey & giblets classic).

Good luck!

Ella & Rusty
