Good Morning, Everyone,
Our thoughts are with Kristin this morning. Her beautiful Calley is flying free.
Yesterday
We were basically a no-show yesterday. I thought I was going to make a simple dinner for a little dinner party, but it turned out to be far from simple! One of those days.
Rusty was a big help, however. While I was busy in the kitchen, he and Edward entertained the guests (another couple and an out-of-town visitor with whom we canoe at Canoe Outing in the summer). We had leftover ham from the New Year's Eve party, but I decided to cook it and then had to do "side dishes". Mistake!
Rusty woke us up last night at 4 A.M. coughing up about a teaspoon of opaque, white, spit-like gunk. I wonder if the Allerplex loosened it up? He's fine this morning. I wanted him to schmooze with me, but he decided that the radiator was a better choice. It is COLD here: -2 degrees this morning (up to 12 degrees). We are expecting a major winter storm with about a foot of heavy, wet snow (temperatures are supposed to rise tonight).
Wishing you all a good weekend and sending vines to all in need,
Ella & Rusty
p.s. to Elsa: more
please!!

Stay warm! Our snow is melting rapidly but I did get in two good skiing days. Maybe tomorrow morning too.
