1/3 Oliver amps 193,114+2,49+5,44+6,48+7,46+8,66+9, PMPS 132,67+2,53+3,43+4,66+5.5,

I'm sorry to read this, Shelley, I hope his appy picks up. You likely have seen this before, but in case not, some suggestions to stimulate kitty's appetite

I'd like to see him up above 50, I don't like seeing him lingering in limes, can you perhaps give him a drop or two of honey/syrup to bump him up? How is he acting other than not much appy?

Sending lots of positive vines.

Thank you for sending that link. I’ve given him 5 choices this morning and this afternoon heated a little Turkey in chicken broth with crushed temptations (forbidden treats!) he did lap that up good. Then, I sat him on my lap and spoon fed tiny amounts of beef gravy food that is 20 carb. He refused his Bonito flakes! Unheard of. He ate one Temptation then walked away. That’s why I crushed them in his Turkey and broth. Because he loves them. I am wondering if he may have a bad tooth or something. He seems interested in food, but something stops him. He is being his cuddly self and not hiding. The vet will sort it out in the morning. In the meantime he has my full attention. Thanks again

It could be a tooth or he’s nauseous. I’d try to get in to your vet tomorrow. I see you can see your vet tomorrow. Good.
They had no openings but we will leave him there and she will see him in between others when she can. I am to text his numbers to her tonight too. So I have her attention

Shelley, I’m sorry Oliver isn’t feeling well. It’s so hard when they’re under the weather.

I believe you mentioned in the past that he’s usually a good eater but still losing weight, is that correct? If full blood work doesn’t reveal anything (such as a kidney or liver issue, infection, thyroid problem, etc), and if there isn’t a dental problem, then I suggest you might inquire about chest and abdominal X-rays. I like to rule in/out “big ticket items” and if nothing else jumps out, at least an X-ray that is unremarkable can be reassuring (or enlightening, if something shows up). Just a thought. I’ve been in that situation a couple of times recently.

Hope all goes well tomorrow. I’ll be thinking of you…

Thanks for the good wishes and the advice. I’m hoping it is something easily treated.

I hand fed hc beef gravy good to Ollie at PMPS +2 in hopes that will slow his roll. He enjoyed it, but I literally fed it in teeny tiny bites to him. Will check him again soon.
