Mannie had a very nice AM cycle -lots of blues... until that infamous +10, and up he went. :roll: The rest of the day was spent in pink and yellow stripes... Mannie, dude, what is up with that? Blues, remember? Maybe today? I like that plan - how about you? With a 207 amps this morning, we just may get there. GO Mannie! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie is back to nanner guarding. I had to laugh. Yesterday the Christmas tree and all the decor was put away. He was so cute - the minute he saw the tree box he got up, left his spot under the tree and went and curled up on top of his nanner pile. It was as if he knew what that box was for. He still has the new nanners apart from the old nanners - what is up with that? Both Mannie and Elsa are doing well - they seem to have accepted BJ's passing - I am grateful for that. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, and well yes, once again Elsa did raid his auto feeder, and I am still running interception, again and again and again ... :roll: What else is new there. :shock: :roll: :roll: Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I hope to be able to head on into Seattle today, for a delayed holiday lunch with a friend. I hope she can make it - still waiting to hear from her. Paws crossed!

Hi Michelle, what is up with both Mannie and Maggie going the wrong way! So funny how Mannie knows what the box may be for with packing up the decorations. Good to hear Mannie and Elsa are adapting to BJ crossing the Bridge. She may be close in spirit with them. Our pets seem so in tune with spiritual things. I hope your friend makes the holiday lunch as it's so nice getting together with friends.

Good morning, Michelle. Maybe the old nanners and new nanners smell differently and Mannie doesn't want to mix the scents. That is cute about him ceding his spot under the tree when you were ready to take it down. Thinking of you and the kitties, know you are sad from BJ's passing but healing.

Mannie, you supervised the taking-down of the Xmas tree very well. Good boy! Now, let's see a nice cycle today with maybe some blue later. Fugedabout the +2!!

Michelle, It's good that the kitties have accepted BJ's passing, although I'm sure that they miss her, too. Have they whacked at all? Have a nice New Year's lunch with your friend today. I hope she can make it.

I thought so too on the tree box - he got up and moved, and hasn't looked back. :shock: and yes, the others seem OK. I keep looking for signs that they are not, but they seem OK. Every now and then something comes up that she would have done, and the tears start all over again. :sad: well - it is getting better.

Hi Ella - He heard you! he did indeed fugedabout the +2: :lol: :cool: :cool: the blues are sooooooo close! and yes on BJ and Elsa - they seem OK, I still worry about them though. Their routines have remained consistent, so I guess I worry too much. An no - no whack-a-thons at all. Sheshhh - I kinda miss those. Mannie is so laid back that he rarely initiates those, once in a while, but as rule no. Elsa just sits and waits her turn for the fuds, or whatever. so.... darn apparent that those whack-a-thons were all BJ's doing. hmmmmm - I may have to teach the other two the art of whacking! :lol: :lol: and thanks on lunch - she did call, so we are a go. :-D

Mannie must have had a late food spike this morning or something. Way to go, Mannie, on hitting the blue floor!!! I hope his liver realizes a mid blue is nothing to get all worked up over so Mannie can have a nice set of numbers this evening.

I still need to get my decorations down!!! I always procrastinate because it's so much work and my DD is of NO HELP!!! :lol: She loves to help put them up, but is nowhere to be found to help take them down.

Hi Patty - I guess so too on the food thing - sometimes he does that.... I hope so too on Mr Liver. I did give it "the lecture". :lol: :lol: I hear you on the decorations - I was so determined that it would be done yesterday - powered through the removal. Of course one gets all the help in the world putting them up, and those folks sure are scarce for the removal. :roll: :lol: :lol:

Hi Roni - WOOT - love the blue dance! And thanks too on BJ - it is appreciated. nad you are right: life must and does go on. I know I have heard her - she had a very distinctive meow, have heard it about three times now. somehow that is cool.
