Good Morning LL!!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa: best make the quad shots today.... one sleepy bean!), and Happy Furday!

Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, love Friday's so they decided that since it is TPIF day that anyone can have any kind of pizza they wants - anythings!!! All with extra nip cheese!!! So get your orders in early! They say this is the way Furday's should be! I am exited too that it's Furday - so... I will make my Coffee Cat special of the day! FRAPPE FRIDAY! YUM!!!! Anything you want - just let me know. OOOOOO this will be such a good day. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all my mocha fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle...... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of apple and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with crystallized apple bits and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

WOO HOO!!!! IT IS FRIDAY FURDAY! :-D :-D :-D I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We did well here. Nicholas was one very tired young man yesterday, but we still had fun, at the pool. We played as best we could in the pool, even nth their holiday schedule. I will be glad when the normal returns to the pools scheduling. A few more days, then a week closure for maintenance, and then back to what Nicholas views as the way things should be. ;-) Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's condo: "HI everyone - I hope your day has been a good one. We have done well here. The weather is getting rather nasty tonight, lots of rains and winds. FUN! What to say on the day. we did ok. I will however be glad when Nicholas and William, are back in the groove: normal days, no late nights due to holiday stuff, no more overload.... That kid was so tired when I picked him up this morning, I knew what kind of day it would be. He had fun, but it was such a struggle for him. The pool and swimming went ok, considering the fatigue factor. The energizer fish was not energized today. He played alot, but ti was very subdued. ;-) we did not test today. He was way too tired on his part. He was all set when we got there, talked alot about it, but when it came time to do what he needed to do, it was a no go. Which is really ok. I kinda knew that is what I would get today, handwriting was on the wall when I picked him up this morning, he could barely keep his eyes open. We will try again in a few weeks, give him time to "recover" from the holidays and his birthday, and time to get to know who his tester(s) will be. so anyways.... we wait. I kinda felt bad for him. he so wanted to play at certain things, but just couldn't make it work. When it came time that we could use the big pool he was told that he couldn't have any toys in with him, and that was the last straw. He sat down on the deck and just cried: tears of sadness. So I picked him up, gave him some hugs, and home we went, down for a much needed nap: Swimming is hard work!

William continues to do well. He is so much fun. We are into solid foods now, rolling here there and everywhere, when he wants that is, sits on his own, plays with whatever he can get his hands on, and still loves his big brother beyond all else. What fun it all is. Nicholas told me today that he really wants William in the pool too. Soon, I hope!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!   And little to write about. what s up with that? They really have been good kitties yesterday - even Lola. She ran alot, she always does, but nothing was Lola-ized. AWESOME! Hmmmmmm..... what is she planning!    She has been busy playing, and doesn't seem to mind too much that her tree has been retired, until next season. She did come out to greet Nicholas when he arrive this morning. That was so cute. He went and petted her, and decided that she needed toys to play with, SO be brought her all the nanners, piled some net to her, and the rest on top of her. And.... she didn't move! What was so touching was that once he had done that he turned to me and says: See Grammie? Lola has all the nanners, Just like with Mannie!" He also brought her all of the other toys too. She was in toy heaven! Later on, as we were getting ready to go to the pool, I glanced over to where that toy pile was and there was Bug in the middle of it all, having himself the best time. Nicholas decided that was major good. Elsa of curse was nowhere to be found. YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure that will be today. Weather is borderline.... they say sun, but.... If that is the case then William, Nicholas and I will be off to a river, probably near Gold bar,as that is the better choice for rivers in winter. More kid friendly, and a bit warmer. We shall see how things are once he gets her and what he has decided about the day. He cracks me up: only just turned 3, and he has it all figured out - knows exactly hat he wants to do. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Nicholas!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Aw, poor Nicholas yesterday. I hear ya, kid - the holidays and holiday-birthdays (I have one, too!) are tiring! Hopefully the testing will go well, once he has had a chance to regroup.

Lola...I dunno, she's gotto be working up some sort of plan for you! I'll be watching for tonight's report. Have a great day, Michelle!!

William seems like such a happy boy. Hopefully the next time Nicholas won't be so tired for the swimming evaluation.

How sweet that Lola let Nicholas put all the nanners on her like Mannie. I'm sure he was so happy. Bug sure knows how to take advantage of the toys Lola gets.

Have a great day with the boys wherever you end up.

Morning Michelle, ~O) ~O) great pics of both Nicholas and William. Awwww....yes, little Nicholas looks a bit tired in some of the pics. Next time he'll be more ready for the testing. I can see where so much excitement over Christmas and presents and staying up late would even make the Energizer Fish sleepy. Too bad little kids can't have coffee, although I grew up having coffee every day for breffifs since a kid, but it was milky coffee.
Elsa, ahh those Triple Cappuccinos are sooo good, thank you, and I'll take three pizzas with pepperoni and extra cheese, something different for me with the pepperoni.
Sweet with Nicholas decorating Lola with nanners and toys and her loving it. So cute with Bug and Elsa, too. Have a great river adventure today and hope it's not too cold.

Good Morning, guys,

How neat that Lola isn't too sad about the tree being gone. I'm sure the showering of toys helped. And Bug got to enjoy the pile of toys, too. Nicholas sure knows how to please the kitties! Does William like to roll grapes??

Have a great day today, whatever you decide to do. When the pool reopens, Nicholas will be more than ready for his test.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Elsa: keep that coffee coming, please! It's mighty cold here!

Oh yes on keeping the coffee coming! Thank you Elsa! Great that Lola hasn't been too upset about the tree. Live in the present. little one!

Awww, Nicholas has had so much going on, good choice not to test. He will be great when he is ready!

Sounds like Lola has moved on to other things and will survive with the tree being done for awhile. She is such a silly girl. How sweet with Nicholas and the nanners. He will always remember Mannie. Have a great day with the boys!

How sweet that Nicholas brought Lola all the toys! And that Bug commandeered them ;-) Sorry he was so tierd yesterday that he missed the test, but he will do well next time. Hope you have a great Furday, Michelle, however you decide to spend it :-D

Hi everyone! Thanks for the visits today. The boys and I had such a great day. Rivers and beaches, trains (!), fishing, all the good things any two boys could want. We decided to do Gold Bar, they had a window in the morning where it was supposed to be sunny. Little guy wanted to go swim, so it took some convincing to have him decide to wait on that, I really hated to waste what was predicted tio be another sunny day, Besides, none to watch William anyways.... so we get there and it's hailing. Sheshhhh! short lived, but he had fun with that. Nicholas has, since the salmon were spawning, nicknamed the Skykomish at the spot in Gold Bar the stinky fish river, due to all the dead ones we found up in the sand, Today he went in search of them, and amazingly he remembered where the bulk of them were last trip: which boulder they were stuck under, which nook, which cranny. Of course the fish have long gone, but he did find bones. That made his day. He decided he needed to return those bones to the river, so he did. Somehow that was just really cool. We met a guy there that was fishing, steelhead are running now I guess. Anyways he asked Nicholas if he liked the fish, and Little guy told him all about the stinky fish and the bones etc. I loved that two. Those two guys had the coolest conversation about fish. It was a very good time there for him. We stayed maybe 2 hours until he was tired. Rather than head home, knowing that Juanita Beach Park was due for full sun in the afternoon, i headed there, let the boys nap while I drove. We had a great time there too: swings and slides, and sandy beaches with a very cool sunset. Little guy pretended he was fishing. He told me it was how the man had told him to do it. That was cool: he had a stick, and fished he did. I sent him home, sound asleep in his seat. William too. I hope he can sleep well tonight. What a great day. I will post the Picassa links in tomorrow's condo.

Thanks everyone for visiting today. Forgive me for not answering each of you individually. I am so tired... I did read them all, and thank you guys for taking the time to read through all of this. Yes on the swim testing, it will be better next time. It was all so new to him, and he was so tired. It was just not a good combo at the time, so we postponed for when he really wants to do it. There really is no rush.... Lola has been good today, and she really does not seem to miss the tree... oddly enough! I am sure that soon she will find substitute! Right now she is running from one end of the house to the other, WARP SPEED. Bug and Elsa are just watching her wizz on by.... silly cat.

Thanks too on Nicholas and Lola and the nanners. it was such a Mannie moment...

Hi Michelle,
The holidays make for crazy schedules for kids, throw in a birthday, and Nicholas definitely needs time to regroup. He will be the instructors favorite when the time is right :-D
Sounds like a great day, very smart squeezing the nap into travel time!
Hope you get to recharge tonight too :-D

Hi Jane ~O) Oh yes on the regroup time. Yesterday was much better for him, but still more is needed. He was pretty pooped by days end. I expect by next week he will be much better, and regrouped. I think so too on the instructors favorite. They already know who he is. ;-) THX, yesterday was good. ad a big yes on that nap time. I planned the drive route hoping that is what they'd do, and gave them enough time to do it in. Worked well yesterday. THX< I think I have adequately recharged... hope so!
