Hi all,

Leo continues to crash with low insulin doses. Leo had 1/2 unit at night before some food around 9pm last night.

His BG this morning at 9:30 was 63 :(

We just applied some syrup on his gums and fed him a bit more and his BG is at 87 now.

Is Leo not eating enough? Does he need more frequent meals? Leo still doesn't have a lot of appetite and continues to be fed through the e-tube for the most part.

Do we need higher carb food? How can such low insulin bring him down so much?

As Wendy said yesterday, three meals for each cycle really helps. Do you have a spreadsheet? Do you need help setting one up? Would you please add to your signature what you are feeding Leo and any other information that will help us help you such as other medical issues and medication he’s taking. Have a look at mine.

I tried my best at starting the spreadsheet with the numbers from last night and today. Will continue updating. Added what Leo is eating now to my signature.

Maybe it's just me, but when I click the link in your signature it shows your spreadsheet is locked. I can't see it. You may need to adjust the permissions on your spreadsheet.

If I may make another suggestion, the link in your signature is very small and hard to see. Could you please expand it so that the words "Leo's Spreadsheet" become the link? It will make it a lot easier for people to notice, and therefore it will be easier for them to find the information they need to help you.
Thanks:)

I just tried to access the spreadsheet and it said I need permission.

For those of you that are doing three meals for each cycle, how do you manage that at night? If you give an insulin shot at 9pm, how are you administering the food throughout the night? Are you waking up in the middle of the night for this?

Thank you!
