Johnny is doing well. Today, he was more himself and less growly towards me during tests and towards his siblings who run when they hear the monitor and then stand around and wait for food. That would get old, eh? Always being the one pricked and getting everyone else a meal?

Sidenote: Brian went to the doctor today and he has pneumonia and a sinus infection. I'm on test/shot duty for the immediate future. I definitely get the better deal though. Poor guy. Trying to take care of him and steer clear of the germs at the same time.

Much better numbers this evening.

Geez, when Brian gets sick he knows how to get sick! I hope he recovers quickly since this sounds like no fun at all.

It would be old always being the one tested ohmygod_smile Funny little story I will share.. my civie seems to get jealous... so I take the glucometer over & "pretend" to test her.. the things we do for our furbabies.. Baby just stares at me while I do it & I hope I am pleasing them both by "testing" Sadi too :mrgreen:

Thanks, Sienne (on both accounts). It's so true about Brian. I've known him for 14 years and this is the first time he's needed a prescription! Yeah, he's going all out! Hopefully this will be it for another 14 years.

Nicole, I love that story! I may have to try that. It makes me wonder if the two civvies think that Johnny is getting something *special* (read: fun) done and they aren't. Thanks for sharing!
