Good morning/afternoon. Sending many, many healing vines to Jupiter and Lucy and more prayers for Rhiannon.

Last night, Gracie snuggled up in my arms to sleep with her head on my pillow. Some time during the night, I woke up and she was jerking and making little mews. In my solid sleepiness, I thought "OMG, she is having a seizure". So I started to pick her up but as soon as I touched her, she woke up from a sound sleep purrrrrrrr....'sup? I was sleeping!!. She must have been in REM sleep and I was just too out of it to make the connection. Poor baby....when she can get sleep, I don't let her.

Well.... :roll: :roll: :roll: I goofed today. After the low numbers yesterday, she took a hard bounce last night and the R didn't touch it. She was back up this morning so I gave her a little more ....thinking she was going to stay in a hard bounce. I was wrong. Such a learning lesson all the time. I think when I use R again in the future, I'm just going to try 0.05u and see if that will work a little better. I think she intended on clearing her bounce on her own today but it didn't look like it to me. I hope I have not set off another bounce......

I have a dental appointment and then shopping for a dinner party for tomorrow night. Mom is home and sounds better today. They are already starting some gently therapy since she always weakens a little in the hospital.

Poor Gracie. She probably wondered why you woke her up. It's funny how different things seem when we're half asleep.

I hope she doesn't bounce again. That's great your mom got to go home sounds better. Still sending prayers for her.

Slow down Gracie, and surf for your bean, she has plans ;-) Hopefully there is no bounce! Good luck at the dental, Marje. I'm so happy to hear your mom is home, that's great news :-D

Come on Gracie. Surf that green for your bean. I have woken up in the night with one of the kitties having a dream and I freaked out too. Poor kitties. Healing vines for your DM. Have a great day Marje!

Nice recovery miss Gracie as usual ;-) Marje the same thing happened to me the other day with Phoebe (my 14yr old Calico) she was sleeping so hard but started twitching and making those sounds and I too went to touch her and she awoke and gave me such a look :shock:
Thank you about the info on the CS and the aluminum, I actually read a post of yours some time back about that when I was researching, but thank you for the reminder, I will def. look into it.

30?? ZOIKES!! @-) No more of those lil Gracie. Interesting that she was mewing in her sleep. I haven't seen that very often with the crew I had. One of our droolers used to let out lil woofs in his sleep quite often. I soooo want to know what's going on in their lil pea brains! Surf safely and have fun today!

Nice surf today! Tess will often bet her paws around when she is in deep sleep! Sometimes so deep I have a hard time waking her. We all do hover, but I figure, a cat can always go back to sleeep, they are professionals at it! :lol:

Glad to hear DM is home, hope she continues to do well.

Poor Gracie, but since we have a seizure cat, I understand your concern- I do the exact same thing! I'm sure Gracie forgives you - esp. if there's a Shrimpie in it!

PSs - another reminder never to underestimate the 'Power of Gracie'! :lol:
 
Thanks for the visits today.

Gracie had a nice surf but we knew she was going to bounce because she came down too fast. And she did. I really could kick myself. I am stepping away from the R tonight and letting her be and come down on her own. Just hope it doesn't take a long time.
 
Good news that Mom is home and sounding better. :-)

Step away from the R and slip into those patience pants, dear. :lol:

And could it be that Gracie was dreaming of a Lupita-free Friday and that dreams come true?

ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile I've been off work two weeks and I forgot it was Lupita Friday and Lupita was even here!!!!!

I must have been focused on the dentist...just a six month cleaning appt...no big deal.

I didn't see the PMPS when I posted :YMSIGH: We got one, too, after a great 3 cycle run :YMSIGH: At least you will sleep tonight & be all refreshed for tomorrow's dinner party (unless Missy G. has other thoughts on the matter ;-) )
 
Haha... Frank is just coming back from looking like he was on death's door. So...the first time I caught him sleeping with his mouth and eyes wide open, it really startled me. Now it just kind of creeps me out a little. :lol:
