Happy Tuesday LL! All good here. Appy was pretty good but I had to break out the ProPlan chicken, 13% carb vs. 12% for FF Chicken Florentine (Zener's standard) but it is low in phosphorus. Such a balancing act.  Ah, well, anything for our guy. He was interested in a picnic but not for long because it was 12 F. Anne is off to teach an early class, which is not her best time of the day.

That Zener is so brave - picnics in the dead of winter. I'll bet his belly got cold, so he had to come in. Poor Anne, I don't much like early, either. How are you feeling Liz? Better I hope.

Hi Liz, I was thinking the same thing with Zener's belly getting chilly with the picnic and good he came back home! I should try the ProPlan on Mags. I'm always looking for something to jazz up her fuds, but it also has to be low phosphorus. Looks like Zener is on a nice slide/ Yes, hope you are over the viral infection. Have a nice day.

H Anne and Liz

and this makes three - poor frozen saved belly. Zener - Mannie says he will lend you a sweater for your next picnic in the dead of frozen winter...

I so hear you on the fuds... such a balancing act it all is, worse when they decide they don't want breffis...

enjoy the rest of your day. I hope it is a good one.

I bet that would be hard to be outside in the freezing cold with a shaved belly. Zener is one tough kitty. Liz I hope you are feeling better today.

Re: 1/29 Zener PMPS 229

Well, tonight is cycle 7 since the last greens following the recent dosecrease. It looks like he may be settling into something sort of flatter ;-)  . We'll give him another couple of cycles here to see if more juice may be needed. Dinner appy happy, successful poo patrol in the backyard and several bare belly picnics in the snow. Zener is a very tough fellow!

@Anne & Muffin - Zener loves to read in his condo how his LL aunties think he is so brave. ;-) Ugh is right on the early mornings, hey I'm the night duty bean for a reason. This semester I am scheduled to only have an early morning seminar on Fridays, but I helped out a colleague today and traded class time. I survived.

@Ann & Maggie - Zener seems fine outside with his bare belly, but the beans get cold just looking at him. The pro plan can sometimes spike Zener's BG so more juice may be needed, but we haven't found a good LC option yet that he will eat that isn't sky high in phosphorus. We've tried most of the suggestions we got from the fine chefs in LL. We still have a couple more to go. :?

@Michelle & Mannie - Zener wants to know if Mannie is as protective of his sweaters as he is of his nanners? And you are so right, the fuds are a balancing act and it is the worst when they won't eat at all. nailbite_smile

@carla - oh Zener loves to read how tough he is!

@Melissa & Mr T - nope, not a bad day at all. We would love greens bookended by blue but we would rather see yellows and blues than those UGH colors! As soon as Zener comes in from a short bit in the yard, he dashes down the hall and gets on the warmest heating pad we have!

Liz is feeling much better, thanks to everyone for asking and sending feel better vines. :-D Hoping all in LL have a drama-free evening full of purrs and scritches.

Re: 1/29 Zener PMPS 229

Hi Liz, boy ain't this sumthin' when Buffalo is warmer than Flagstaff. Now who would want to be outside in that weather, with a bare tummy. Brrrr!

Have a nice evening, You Three :-D

Re: 1/29 Zener PMPS 229

Zener, you're a funny kitty with those 12deg picnics!! You're definitely much tougher than I am!!! Yay for happy appy and poo, too!! Have a great night, guys!

Re: 1/29 Zener PMPS 229

Some darn lovely numbers today, Zener. I know they're not greens, but they're still nice! Sorry the picnic didn't work out. You guys could have had one here in FL...it was in the 70's today with a nice breeze! As for early classes...I feel your pain, Anne! I have Men's Chorus first thing in the morning. I know it's not the same "pain", but in my world...it's a HUGE pain!!! Hope you all have a great evening. Sleep well and stay warm!

Re: 1/29 Zener PMPS 229

Thanks for the belly rub idea!!! It worked for Moonie!!
Zen man freezing picnic with shaved belly--BRRRRRR!!
We are recommending a kitty sweater, OR a warm Litter Box!!!
I am not an early person either, not since I lost my house!! I like the afternoon better !
Hugs & Love from us!! Have a great night!!
