Bounce day! (from the 64 last night, undoubtedly). The shot this evening began the 6th cycle on the fat 0.25U dose, so I think I will go up in dose tomorrow morning. This is a wild and weird time for Rusty's bg. The Convenia is still in his system, as is the steroid, so his numbers are high (except when he drops) and not at all typical. We are going to NYC on Thursday for about a week, so Rusty will have his usual trip bounce (on top of the already wonky numbers). In any event, he is feeling good, acting fine, his nasal passages and eyes are mostly good, and his appetite is excellent.
Ice everywhere here. Our driveway is a skating rink. We have to walk over the lawn (crusty snow-covered) to get into our house. I had to wear my climbing microspikes to get to my car today! The x-c ski scheduled for Wednesday has been changed to a hike in microspikes. The only good thing about this ice is that the Ice Palace is almost finished and nothing is melting! Winter Carnival begins on Friday. We'll miss a few days, but will be back for the grand finale (the carnival parade). @Linda and Bear Man will be visiting us that weekend. Rusty is so looking forward to her visit.
Got to go downstairs to hold Rusty's dinner bowl. bbl.
