Good Weekend, Everyone,

Well, it does indeed look like I gave a fur shot last night, just as I thought. And just when Rusty was doing so much better again! Oh well, onward we go! Rusty had a good night. At one point he was downstairs, tearing around the livingroom playing with Red Ears and the Cube. All of his nighttime food was eaten by the time AMPS rolled around, and the lb had received both contributions. The first sitting of breakfast has been eaten and we've had a game with Red Ears and his string, and Big Bug (Rusty is now more interested in the "little-bug" end (my end) of the Big Bug toy--got to have variety, ya know!).

Beautiful winter morning here with about 3 inches of new snow. We plan to go snowshoeing on some forest trails this afternoon. And then we are going to attempt to make a pizza for dinner (Edward got a pizza stone for Xmas). We used to make pizza, but in NYC we could always buy better pizza than we could make; up here it's quite another story: the local pizza is dreadful!!

'Morning, Ella. I love that Rusty is so playful in the morning :-D Checks would be too,if his mama wasn't so lazy. :roll:
Homemade pizza? Yummm, don't be stingy with the cheese, hang the fat and calories :lol:

I hope you get in some nice snowshoing today. I'm gonna put on my boots and walk out to get the mail. :-D
All that fresh new powder is fantastic for the slopes around here.

Aw, bummer about the fur shot. But you're right, onward we go! It sounds as if he's having a wonderful morning anyway, playing with his bean and his toys :-D It sounds like Red Ears and Big Bug have taken quite a beating lately!

Good for you, snowshoeing! It sounds lovely but I've never been able to get over the cold enough to try it. The homemade pizza sounds awesome too- there is nothing worse than bad delivery pizza! I hope it turns out fantastic for you; I'm sort of a food nerd and have always been interested in pizza stones but haven't bought one yet.


Hey Rusty, any chance of your beans making us a chicken, gravy, and catnip pizza? With maybe a few shrimps on it too? See what you can do, man, I'm dying for one!!

A blip on the SS but at least there's a reason for it...but a great report for Rusty. He sounds like such a happy boy! Hope you enjoy your day Ella....now I am in the mood for NY pizza...we have one place down here that make theirs similar, but it isn't the real thing. Every other place is awful! There's nothing like a NY pizza! And NY bagels!! :mrgreen:

Bummer on the furshot. It sounds like Rusty is doing beautifully though.

Homemade pizza after a good workout on the snowshoes.....Nice.

Morning!! Ah bummer on the fur shot, not too much to do but move on, today is another day, and Rusty will be back to Rusty soon.

So nice on the new snow, and the snowshoeing for today - it sounds so beautiful, fun, rewarding. Enjoy! Good luck with the pizza too. I love homemade pizza - yum! those pizza stones can make such a difference.

I saw that number and wondered what was up. Sorry about last night's fur shot but Rusty will be back on track momentarily.

Was not expecting your AMPS. Darn furshots. Got to love that long hair on Rusty other than shot time :lol: He's so handsome. I love hearing about his play sessions. Its so cool that he is so playful.

I have to look up pizza stones. I'd never heard of them before. Sounds really neat.

Enjoy your time outdoors. New York send some snow our way. The nice fluffy easy to shovel kind. DH will get out the snowblower because he's a man.
 
A moving-down day after the fur shot last night. Rusty had some great play sessions. We had a fine snowshoe, but got home pretty late, so decided to make the pizza tomorrow night.
