Good day everyone!
Morgaine had more litter stuck to her back paw again last night. She insists on peeing at the front of her box and then has to step on it to exit. So out came the soapy water and a wash cloth and YOW! She had a hissy fit and clawed me good. I am now sporting a bruise under my thumb with a tiny puncture mark. So out came the trukey baster. Yes, the turkey baster. I proceeded to fill it with warm soapy water and I squeezed it onto her paw. Before that i had rubbed some petroleum jelly on her paw to more hissy fits. While all this was happening I had covered her upper body with a towel so she wouldn't have to see a thing. They do that sometimes at the vet. Then I had her chasing chicken treats around on the rug, hoping that it would remove the gunk. It did and that my friends is my lesson today on how to remove caked on litter from a cat's paw. UNBELIEVEABLE what i will do for my girl. Now I am among the walking wounded and hoping an infection does not set in. OW!
Seriously I just have to    at me!
