Yesterday was an OK day for Mannie - mostly yellows and blues, but NO PINKS (!! :-D :-D ). The flat yellows from the day before seemed to carry forward into yesterday morning, with a nice slide into the blues for the PM cycle. We even got one green! Well done Mannie - I sure hope this means we are back to the blue/green mode, Right? Lubs ys big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in Mannieland. :-D Yesterday during Mannie's test we had a visitor. Well, more like an observer... Elsa showed for 5 of them. :shock: :razz: It was so uncanny - she took what was BJ's spot, and just watched, for a short while. She didn't say for the whole thing, but still - it was so like the days of old. I do know for sure that BJ is still with us, and on occasion, guides the actions of the others. She was such a strong presence, the leader of the group. I guess I never really realized how true that was until she passed last month. They were good moments yesterday. Mannie had a sleepy hang out in his bed place yesterday. We were cold, with some rains, a really strong winds. I don't blame him for holding down the fort from his bed, which yesterday was the nanner pile. :lol: :lol: We had one or two poke the nose out the door moments... they were short-lived. :lol: :lol: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Hey everybody! WOO HOO on yesterday - I loved it - it was so cool that you guys came to hangout with me at my pad, fireplace and all. I was thinking last night that we haven't been to the fish market here in Seattle in ages - you wanna go? They have this one place - these guys are fish gurus: the fish get tossed back and forth and it is so fun when they bring in the new fish. They is flying everywhere! Nice that Elsa is supervising Mannie's business with the passing of BJ. Herbie does the same, which cracks me up... she always has such a serious face when she does! :lol: :lol: :lol: Well done, Mannster... holding down the fort from the pile??? You are indeed the Nanner King!!

Hi Michelle, looks like Mannie is coming down! Yes, they sure do bring back memories always, and that definitely means they are close by. So cute with Elsa stepping in there and keeping watch. Have a wonderful day Michelle and enjoy your walk. How's the weather up there?

Hi Linda, me too: BLUE MANNIE! It was so nice to see Elsa come and do that. She hasn't made them all, but still was good.

Hi Ann and Miss Maggie - yes. that he did - I was glad to see that +4.5 - a low yellow! yep on Elsa, and the walk - it was a good one, though very windy. We have 35 mph wind gusts - shesshhh! but the walk part was nice - 45 and I got out before the rains hit this afternoon. YAY!

wellllll..... that would be an affirmative. I like the ankle winding thing - throws them off guard ya know - then they drop them for sure! Weezer wants to try some in flight interception.That might be a little difficult, but ya know - they are unattended mid-flight toss. Amazing how almost every other day BJ makes her presence known, i wonder if the kitties can see her?

Mannie!! Dude we are hanging around the same floor! Its nice to have some company up here. Flying fishies sounds yuuuummmmy!

I hope you bought that poor cat of yours his favourite fuds!! :lol: We don't want Mannie starving to death. :lol:

Hi Tracy - I wonder if they can - I just have no clue. I know at least they sense her, as do I on occasion - not everyday. It is darn amazing. -- LOL, and yes on the fuds! POOR MANNIE! The cupboard was getting might sparse!! :lol: :lol: I dunno though... the boy could stand to lose a few pounds. Every time I tell him this I get that look, with an extended paw. I am sure his thoughts are something like "You see this paw, this one razor sharp claw? It has your name on it..." and thanks - evening is good so far. :cool:

I think Mannie must have eaten some salmon with whiskey syrup glaze at the fish market!! Come back down big guy!!!

Now if BJ could just send them the message to do the kitty choir and whackathon!!! Things might be back to order around there!!

Hi guys,

Quite a day at the fish market for the kitties. Rusty is sorry he missed it, but is glad that the gang will come to NYC tomorrow. Ice skating at Rockefeller Center and hot dogs in Central Park are on t he agenda.

How neat that Elsa is helping with. Mannie's tests. BJ is certainly watching over her household!

Hi Ella - Yep. Elsa is, well some of them - she doesn't do all, but I'll take what I can get. :-D I just think it's great that BJ is making her presence known, very subtle, but it is there. Mannie is busy packing his bag for the big city, and even got a new pair of skates. He is more than excited. Too fun on the iPad - looked good to me!
