HEALTH AND DOSE INFO:
Yesterday was..... "OUCH, what a bounce" day.... and "Let's Slide" day..... and "Maybe a rainbow" day.... Mannie started out on the unmentionable floor, after having an exceptional cycle the night before, seeing greens and blues for the first time in a very long time... It was great to see. I knew he'd bounce: it is the way things are now for him, as he continues to recover from pancreatitis. I had just hoped it would not be as bad as it was. He did recover well though, finding the low pinks at PMPS. Activities have been fairly normal, he seems to be getting stronger each day too. He is up and about, doing normal Mannie things, getting better. He's alert, preening, visiting favorite haunts. LB continues to be good, normal. Ketone test last night was negative. Appy was good yesterday, CPC status all day. YAY! I even had the fuds dance at pmps - for about 20 seconds. That was wonderful! I did not given him any bupe yesterday - he seemed fine without it , and no worse for wear . I have also scheduled an appointment for him with a IM vet for next Monday, per the request of my vet. It would be good to have someone that can adequately oversee all his medical needs: ie. heart, liver, etc... as well as his drug sensitivities. We shall see how that goes. ;-) Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better vines. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday was vacuum day... :shock: I took a chance and moved the nanner pile so that space could be vacuumed, for once. :lol: :lol: He didn't come after me, but I could see him peek around the corner, checking on things, making sure I hadn't totally ruined his stash. :lol: :lol: What was even funnier, and ever so nice, was that Elsa too was watching: me, the nanners and Mannie. Best I take care - she was looking out for her baby brother... That was kinda cool. Back when we had BJ, and it was fuds time, those kitties would all line up in a row, and wait. It always used to make me laugh - the line was perfect, everybody was in the same position: symmetry! I hadn't seen Mannie or Elsa do that since BJ passed last year. yesterday they did. WOW, and what a flashback that was. That too was ever so nice. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. Appy was good: he ate well. CPC!!!!! :cool: 97% Close to normalcy in MannieLand, still working on that last 3%.... :-D :cool:

Have a great day everyone. This morning I am off for breffis with my son. YAY!: Good food, good company, good times! After that the drainage contractor comes to do a diagnostic on my yard/house drainage system to see what is what there, hopefully fix us, so we don't flood again... I am so looking forward to finding out just what is what, and pray that it doesn't cost me my arms and legs... It is going to be a great day! If they are done early enough I hope to get in that hike I never did do yesterday. :-D

Hey everybody! What's up??? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Guess what???? we is off on a grand adventure! There is this really cool town in the mountains here: Leavenworth, it is a German town, and they have the bestest ever sausages and spaetzles and pastries and ooooooooooo all kinds of good fuds! and the brewskis!!! and it is next to a river with fishing and everything! So.... I was thinking, there is so much snow there and that maybe we could take some snowmobiles up there, cruise thought the mountain meadows and stuff, take the short route though all the snow fields. What'd'ya think? You guys in? let me know - I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Nice sunny start for Mannie today! It took us a couple of months to get Tarragon's BG's calmed back down after the dreaded p. Great news on the CPC. Way to go big guy. How sweeeeeet on Mannie and Elsa lining up. Tarragon and Turnup do that and it makes me laugh every time. Each in "their" spot and waiting ever so patiently, other than the griping Turnup does until the bowl is actually presented. What a sweet reminder of BJ. Elsa is definitely looking out for her brother with the nanners and vacuuming. Have a great time with DS and good luck with the contractor!


Woohoo! I lubs spaetzle! My bean makes it all the time since it's my hoomin brothers favorite and I get to have a piece. Sausages and chees too huh? Awesome. This will be a blast. Pick me up k? - Tarragon

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) Thanks for the time reference with Tarragon and the dreaded P - it is hard for me to know just what is going on with him - we are on a little over three weeks now. He is much better now, but wow, what an ordeal, and what a long time this all takes. well we keep on truckin'! :-D I thought so too with the lineup - it was just nice. And yes on Elsa - she is such a shy cat, but a very sweet one, very aware when those here aren't at their best.

Mr T! YAY!! We is on board then - they have the bestest fuds ever there! and Shops just for cheese!!!! They even have a bacon cheddar! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! it is so cool that you lubs spaetzles! so so so good! one my way to picks you up... hope it's ok to do a wheelie in your driveway.... ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle, nice AMPS for Mannie. Yay for the fuds dance being back again. :-D That is a nice milestone and CPC, too. Mags noticed Mannie always has good lb action. :lol: Very important, she says. Each day seems to get better for him. Very cool on the Elsa and Mannie lineup. I bet BJ was there, too. What a flashback and nice memories. Have a great time with DS for breffifs, one of my favorite things to do with friends. Good luck with drainage contractor.

Maggie! it is such a cool place - you will love it - just past the moutnians, which are very primo there. WOO HOO then on the snowmobiles! I gots the perfect route for us - nice and easy, but right through the heart of the best mountains we gots. SO NICE! There are lots of places to stop for angels and snowcats. YAHOO! I LUV sausage and my friend (well my roomie, I don't like her all that much) Buster LUVS bacon! She eats the beans bacon all the time. She heard about today's trip to the sausage place and bacon hut and wants to come. So, the bean says, I have to bring the brat. But I get to drive not her. My wagon is empty and ready for filling with meats and cheeses and let's go. And I put a tag on Buster so she doesn't get lost..... :YMSIGH:

No fuds spike - looks like Mannie's setting up for a great day. Too cute Elsa watching out for her baby bro. And I'm sure BJ was right there in the line up yesterday. How wonderful to get a visit from her. I hope you get good news from the drainage guys, and that Mannie lets you get out for that hike.

I had thought that when they lined up - it was as if she was there orchestrating the whole thing. THX too on the drainage guys... they are here now digging and digging, then the diagnostics part... paws crossed, but I expect more work will need to be done. Oh, Michelle - it is SO nice to hear Mannie is getting stronger every day, doing more Mannie-like things and to see him getting back to better numbers. I know it must make you feel good!

hi Libby - THX! it is good to see the improvement, he's not totally there yet, but things are better, It sure does make one feel good. THX on breffis - it was great! Didn't get that hike in: time spent with the contractor, and :? on the expense, which we don't know yet.... we do have a few problems, so... waiting on the damage intimate. :shock:

Nice day for Mannie today. Love the fuds dance and cats in a row like old times. It sure sounds like he is almost there.

Good luck with the contractor estimate - we had to get our main water line replaced last year. :roll: The worst part was the yard/water disruption, hope you don't have much of that.

Mannie, I third the love of spaetzle - it's all carbs! But I had to go to vetty today so I couldn't make the trip. Could you pick some up and do delivery on your way home if any is left? ~Neko

It looks like Mannie can't decide between yellow & blue today. At least he's not higher. That's so neat how Mannie & Elsa lined up at meal time. Good luck with the contractor.

Hi Wendy - that it was! It reminded me of cycles of old, sure was nice to see. oh ye on the fuds dance , and the lineup! So reminiscent of days gone by. Maybe they are returning. :-D and ye, he is almost there. There are a few behaviors that are missing, staples as they were, and once they are there then I can say, for sure, he's back. :-D THX on the contractor - we now know we have a few problems. They will be back to scope what they didn't have time for today, and then the estimate... and yes on the disruption - the yard for sure in this case. already I have caution tape in a few parts of the yard. :shock: :? :lol:

Neko - We missed you today !!! I hope the vetty was OK, The KTSS will be by tonight to get rid of the vetty smell, and BRING YOU LOTS OF SPAETZLES!! :-D they is mega good, and of course low carb. oh yeah on that last part.... just don't tell your bean!~ Mannie

I see that Mannie is having a really good day. YAY!! And the Blue Mannie Group played in the German town up in the mountains! Double YAY!! And the kitties had a great time today snowmobiling. Fingers and paws crossed for a good evening cycle, too.

I hope all went well with the drainage contractor and that he can figure out what will work best for you.

How lovely that Mannie and Elsa were in "remembrance" mode. I'm sure that BJ is smiling.

Yo Mannie, that snowmobiling was amazing. Did you see how fast Tess drove? Those wursts were so good. And the Leberkaes was first rate. And the beer!! YES!! Great idea to go there on an adventure. See ya tomorrow,

Hi Ella - He really did ave a great day! The +2 tonight is a bit disappointing, but even with that - such a good day. YUPP too on the Blue Mannie Group - he was so thrilled! THX too on the drainage stuff - we have a few issues/problems, but in the long run it can be repaired, so that is good. I hope that it won't be too costly.... :? yes, I think so too on Mannie and Elsa in the remembrance mode - it was so BJ - I know she was smiling.

Rusty - It was, wasn't it! heeheehee on Tess - she is the queen of speed! Scary dude scary. I lubbed the wurst, especially the cheddar ones.. YUM! We gots to go again - it was so fun... more brewskis please. I uhhhhh managed to bring some home... treehouse at midnight? !~~ Mannie
