Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Last Condo

AMPS 207

If I squint sideways, that AMPS has a big tinge of BLUE in it....doesn't it? I poked an extra drop in this morning - gotta try to get those numbers down now that he's on the last of the ab's and has quit sneezing and coughing. He's up roaming looking for trouble altho' it's cloudy and perfect sleeping weather. WAIT, maybe it's too HOT - It's 70 DEGREES HERE! It will drop later to the 40's but right now, it's SHORTS weather! What a wonderful gift in January! The high yesterday was 76! I DID at least take off sweats!

Miss 'Sox' (aka Boots) is starting to want to figure out about those fuzzy feetz in the next room. I've opened the screened window another 6", now there's about a foot of screened window. Pepper keeps running to the door when I'm in Sox' room so she can 'smell' that black and white thing out there now. Leo wants to come up to the door too but Pepper hisses at him telling him to 'get back boy', that's MY 'sniff'.

You know, it's amazing how different animals are when they know they've arrived 'home' and are safe. Leo's the biggest change I've seen. In his former home, he wouldn't use the litter box (I think she never cleaned it), he'd pee on her bed if she didn't let him out. He didn't eat well, he fought with others and sprayed everywhere. Since he's been here, he's NEVER missed the litter box, he gets along with everyone he's been exposed to and hasn't sprayed since he arrived - not even acted like he WANTED to spray. It's just amazing how different he acts now - he's such a happy boy. He's started telling me he'd be happier INSIDE with the other 'boys'....DH has always said that 3 cats and 2 dogs are enough 'underfoot' in our main living area but last night, he even mentioned that soon was time to move him inside. I've introduced him to KT, Snow and Nuis while in my arms, everyone was just curious rather than hissy.

Boy I run on today don't I? And nothing important either... :-D

BIG HUGS and thoughts and prayers for those needing them. Larry losing Misty, sick Mannie, Moonie's Poo, JD and others that I'm forgetting.

THIS is EXACTLY why we HOMETEST!!!!

+4 - 44

Nothing different than usual, no new foods, ate same, acting just fine altho' just asked for food but it's 'usual' food time. Feeding 1/2 can lc with couple tsp hc mixed in...test again in 20 mins...

 nailbite_smile Dang KT! Good catch! Now come up a bit and surf nicely for the rest of the day, would ya?

Awww Lyresa, what a nice story about Leo. It is amazing how animals know when they are cared for, and want to get closer for more of that good lovin' care. And awww on DH wanting to let Leo in.

Oh yeah....YIKES on that +4...good catch! I hate when they do that.

What a sweet story of being welcomed into the family - and - good catch on that (44)! Yes, ma'am, that IS why we home test :-D

It's in the 70's here, today, too! Yesterday, we had sleet. Always have to check the weather online to see how to dress...

Have a great day -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Yep, This is why we home test!! You know I had to urine test Moonie for about 9 mths when we first came, as she went ballistic when I tried to test her--It was really a terrible time..
But times have changed!
Look how your fur family is growing!! So sweet!
Hope Your baby doesnt bounce too much--Hugs & Much Love from us!
