Well, we had a semi-long evening @-) .

It started at PMPS with one of the highest numbers we've seen since coming out of remission...and ended on the lowest number we've seen as well :-D She surprised me at +5.5 by being so low! Not green yet, but wow. I got up at +7 and she was even lower, I'm hoping she didn't go too much lower after I crashed. I did go to bed at PM +2.5 and got up to test between naps, so I did get some sleep...still sleepy tho as I worried when trying to sleep that I should be testing :roll:

Yesterday: Chyna 1/28

Today we are (just barely) blue! The morning was another ouchie shot, but we got it all in and then Chyna went to sulk (bad bean :sad: ). Breffis had to be spoon fed so I could be sure she ate as she wasn't interested in fuds after that shot (we do test, shoot, feed as she almost always CPCs and the fuds are incentive for the shot).

I left an extra portion out since she did that zoom down last night and am not sure what will happen today...I'm expecting a bounce but you never know! I'll be home at lunch to check. Have a good day, LL! :razz:

Sorry about the ouchie shot and the spoon-feeding. I hope Chyna eats whens he needs to and surfs safely today.

I remember the nights well when I was up all night checking. After three years of this....not so much!! :lol: It's a great day when you can reliably know where you're kitty is going to go. Of course, we still have to stay on our toes because they do like to surprise us now and then just for the heck of it!!

Hoping for a nice slow slide down the ladder!!

Poor little Chyna, getting those ouchy shots. :sad: Mamabean doesn't mean to hurt you, sweetheart. You know she loves you to pieces. Don't punish her by going any higher, okay? She's tired after last night's hijinks and could use a nice, smooth surf this evening. Whaddya think, Chyna? Pretty please? cat_pet_icon

Paws crossed this is as far as Chyna bounces. Her SS is looking a lot more blue lately. :thumbup

I so get the broken light sleep - wondering if you should be getting up to test. The number of times I get up in the morning and say "guessed wrong again!". :roll:

I hope Chyna headed back to the blues by PMPS!! Bummer on the ouchie shot...I hate those. Give MamaBean a nice safe surf tonight, OK, Chyna?

Thanks for visiting, Devon, Liz, Carla, Patty, Tricia, Wendy, Amy and Ella :-D Unfortunately, we are in full bounce, up to pink (and I hope that is it) :roll: . The good news is, after not eating her 11am meal or the extra fuds left out (not like her at all) and being spoon fed her 1pm one and laying there looking generally not happy, she ate her 4pm one in the autofeeder and scarfed down supper. She pooped a lot yesterday so that can't have been it...Cats!

Yep, I'm always second guessing when I should test. I try to get a +2 at night, especially now that we're going lower. Last night showed me we would probably be active, but I figured starting so high red and not having had much of a diver in the past it wouldn't go down that much. And she went to 130, that I caught anyways, maybe lower. And I say it again...cats! :!:

I started the L-Lysine tonight (half a capsule) and will try to see if it helps her eye and breathing. We got some new treats today, Orijen freeze dried boar, and they were a hit (so far :lol: ) she practically tried to chew my finger while I set the second one down. :lol:

I'm torn since I want sleep I'm so pooped...and I want blues and greens :shock: But Chyna decides, not me, I'm just along for the ride ;-) Have a great night LL!

Hi Rachel - THX for the visit today... BUMMER on that bounce. Down Chyna, please. That blue this morning was so nice! Good luck with tonight's cycle. Surf well little one, with a nice slow decent down...

Well, Rachel, you said you wanted to sleep, so I guess Chyna figured a pink number would mean you don't have to keep testing! :lol: Chyna, that's NOT what she meant. ohmygod_smile Come on down to the yellow floor, sweetheart. You'll be so much more comfortable there, I promise. Glad to hear you like your new treats. I ordered some for Cinco, but I don't think I was brave enough to get the wild boar. Hearing that you like them, I might try that flavor next.

I look forward to hearing how the L-lysine works for you. I'm going to pick some up tomorrow for my two civvies with allergies. Paws crossed we all see improvement! :-D
