Zener is doing fine this morning. Appy is VERY good! Maybe that is why his BG is higher. :sad: He definitely feels good though. And what a dive! Maybe a bit of a food spike from his tiny piece of pill pocket? Maybe some hokey pokey? Hoping we will see some yellow today. Paws crossed.

Linda: Thanks for the tip on mullein tea! Mullein grows all around here, we are tempted to go harvest some. :lol: :lol: Probably headed over to the health food store though. Congrats on Weezer's first green! It give me goosebumps. :-D

Zener's appy is doing so well, we are trying to slip in a bit of the lower carb food mixed with his medium carb food. Before he got sick, he was eating 8% carbs. He is doing fine eating a bit lower carb so far today, has not slowed him down! :-D

Anne, feel better. I hope the tea helps. Edward thinks that the best cure for a cold or flu is to make yourself a bad host: smoke, drink, and eat unhealthy foods. Just passing on these words of wisdom for what they're worth! Gesundheit!

Anne, I hope you feel better soon! Lots of sympathy here as I am just kicking The Crud myself. Good luck with the carb reduction plan - if you cover the AMPS with your hand, Zener looks pretty good today! :lol:

Hi! I am so far behind and out of the loop but i wanted to stop by and see how Zener was doing. I am glad he is eating and feeling better. First things first and eating comes first for these furbabies of ours. I see that Anne is back and not feeling so well. Feel better and glad you are home safe and sound.

Thanks to all for stopping by today. Liz just got home from work and I've been sleeping most of the day, not feeling very good. The kitties feel very good, so that's the best. Zener has been sleeping with me most of the day, what a good boy! cat_pet_icon

We have successfully {{anti-jinx}} gotten Zener to 8% carbs today, the % carbs he was eating pre-vomit no eating episode! :-D A few more cycles at this dose to see if we can get some action, and if not, we will go back up to where he was before we were syringe feeding. I thought if I put the dosecrease threat in his condo, we might get some action. :lol:

@Ella - I like Edward's cure for the cold - especially the eating part! :lol: Isn't chocolate medicinal?

@Ann & Maggie - Zener is such a good boy, slowly his numbers are coming down, and he is back to eating 8% carbs! :razz:

@Melissa & Bailey - great to know you survived the crud! I have moments where I feel like I will, then moments where I feel really crummy again. :sad: Thanks for the tip on the hand trick to make the cycle look good! :lol:

@Rosalie - I feel the same way about being behind and out of the loop after being in Germany for a week. Just when I thought I might get a chance to catch up, I get this blasted crud so back to the couch. :roll:

@Celi - I didn't see this "runny nose coughing up a lung" bonnet before, it would be perfect for me! I wonder if you can buy it off late night tv for $19.95 with shipping and handling. :lol:

Hope everyone has a good Caturday night. I'm heading back to stretch out on the floor in front of the tv, maybe I will get some kitty company...

Hi guys - sorry for the late visit... Anne, I hope you feel better soon. How sweet that Zener is taking care of you. Good job Zener.

Bummer on that pmps color. Zener - what is up with that? Down you go, 'K? Even with all that it really was a flatter cycle - that part was nice. Good luck with the new dose, when you decide to go ahead with it, Watch out Zener - more juice on the table for you....
 
Yay for Zener getting his carbs down but Zener you do understand that is not enough to keep your dosecrease away don't you - for that you got to show us the numbers!
