I gave him Karo, so it's my fault. Glad he recovered quickly.

So, I gave him the .1 today. Shot it into a paper towel to see how much it is. It was literally a few drops. Does that sound right?

The karo would have contributed but some of it was also bouncing from green/lime. Don't beat yourself up. We have all thrown carbs at greens (and blues as well!) when we were new to this! :-)

Yes. It's not a lot of insulin. Just watch out for the syringe markings like I said. Sometimes, markings are off by almost half a unit.
 
Yes, bounce clearing + higher depot still at play. Stay with LC unless he dips into the 50s and 60s early in the cycle. If he does, then a little MC may be needed.

He just hit 69 at +1.5 so I gave some MC. I have to go into the office today, so hubby will be on duty. Don't want to leave him in a bad spot.
 
Well, when I left for work at +2.5 he was sitting at 112 after some MC. Did fine until +5 where he dropped below 50 again. Hubby handled it and didn't even call me. He went pretty high, but is coming back down now.
