Thanks! Unfortunately not until about +10. In the pm, we could get a +2 or +3.

I finally got to speak with his doctor, and he wants him on 0.5 units twice per day, with a full curve done on Sunday (since that will have been over a week since his last full 2.5 unit dose) and likely 30 days of 0.5 units or less to taper down to zero. This is very unexpected, and I can't thank everyone on this board enough for their help and most importantly their encouragement to home test so that we didn't blindly shoot 2.5 units this past Sunday when he was at 72!
I hope you are going to ignore the vet and continue to give zero units. I wouldn’t give insulin at this point.
