Yesterday convo

It was a nice blue night for Rooh but then he bounced back into the red before the morning. I did slip him a little higher carb food at +4 to stop him from going lower in hopes of avoiding being up all night and hoping it would stop the red bounce, but it didn't stop the red.

Thoughts?

Here's the link to Rooh's previous post yeaterday. We like to include the link back so we can see what was suggested previously. To make the link, first go to your old post and copy the URL in your browser window, go back to your new post of the day and type in what ever you want the link to say, then highlight the words, select the little chain link image in the tool bar, and enter the copied URL.

It looks like Rooh did indeed clear the bounce last night. It would have been nice to let him get down to greens, to see whether or not the reduction is working for him. A better choice when you want a cat to surf, is to give low carb food. And the normal green numbers are where the pancreas healing occurs, so the more time there, the better. Also, the more time spent in green, the more their body gets used to it and they won't bounce as high.

Nice on the blues, but the bounces will pass. You will gain more confidence and his body will get used to normal numbers.

Wendy - Thanks for the lesson on linking and the advice. I was worried LC food wouldn't be good enough and it was going on 1am. But I did end up getting up twice following that after all to check on him, so I am getting a little used to sleeping in 1.5 hour cycles. Plus now he screams at me all night long to wake up... I fly out of the bed worried about him to find that he just wants me to play wiff him. I will have to tell him the story about crying wolf.

Ann- I sure hope the bounces decide to stop. That would be wonderful :)
