1/28 Oktober AMPS 57 (3.16) +2=49 +6=68 <.25 units

So, I am so new to this that I'm not sure where to go from here.

I have been running an official curve on Oktober today, and she has had some steady low numbers. We were eyeballing the .5 units and .25 units previously, and now upon suggestion from someone in the group we have worked our way down to less than .25 units.

With reasonable numbers in the green and blue for the last 7 days, and green all day today, when do I stop the Levemir all together? Does this mean remission is possible? Am I doing this wrong?

Oktober looks awesome!! Yes! Remission is definitely possible

typically we go from 0.25u to 0.1u finally to a drop dose before we start an OTJ (off the juice trial). Here is a picture of what those doses can look like:

With the 49 today you need to reduce to .1u at the next dose. Try and get a couple of tests in during the pm cycles as well, as cats often drop lower at night. Always try and get a before bed test in to see Oktober is not dropping too low.
