These late mornings leaving work are really messing with our numbers. Poor guy ....

Off for a few days before I leave for the weekend, but I am still thinking of having the sitter shoot. 0.10. I am not sure I trust her to be able to find another dose on the syringes and doing 0.50 but not testing makes me uneasy.

How late is it considered ok to shoot? Your sitter is not able to test him?

No. Out of most of the diabetes " experienced" pet sitters- she was the only one who seemed to reliable enough to come by, but she is used to client's that don't test and just shoot.
Makoto isn't exactly welcoming to new people and she's a bit intimidated anyways. I doubt he'd let her test....he might not even let her shoot honestly.

I was told that 30 mins was okay and anything outside of that would likely affect your numbers ( act like an increase/decrease). I try to stay as close to that window as possible but....lately I've been pushing it with being 30 minutes late an the AM and shooting 15 minutes early in the PM. I've shot an hour late before, but adjusted the next dose to be within 11.5 hours and got back on schedule the next day.

Once I board jebat at the vet cos I went overseas and he became so fierce and wild that they couldn’t even shoot. Ended up my sis had to take him back.
Life is tough when u have a sugar kitty. Everythg revolves around them - their shooting times, testing times. I don’t even know of any pet sitter here who offers insulin jab service.
