1/28 LOOSE LIPS: taxes? already? seriously? :) on TTuesday!

Good Morning LL (LOTS! I just love ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! Anybody wanna hang out in Mannie's treehouse today? It smells like tuna pizzaas up here! We are opens to anything, so let us know! The zip lines are up and running, we have been testing them! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!


I hope your day yesterday was a good one. Mine was OK. I decided early on in the day that I really need to get serious on tax stuff, as it takes for every to compile all that we have.... so made that my mission. By 1PM the eyes were blurry, a mild headache was brewing, so time to stop, close out the spreadsheets, and save the rest for another day. So I did! Besides.... I could hear the Meadowdale woods calling my name! :lol: This is what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope you day has been a good one. It was boringggggggggggg here, but I did get out for a while. It was fairly foggy most of the day, finally let up about 1:30, but still no sun. I spent the morning working on tax stuff (hence the boring comment), got maybe 1/4 of the stuff done, mapped and on spread sheets. Woot, only 3/4 more to go..... I finally said enough and headed on out for a woods walk and exploration hike. I had a good time. Mosses are really taking off, some are quite pretty. Some of the fungi are doing their thing too. Good exploration today. It was a tad bit chilly, no sun today! Bummer! "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... one scattered pile of magazines: that was it!. :shock: :roll: But other than that??? GOOD GIRL! amazing isn't it. She is such a fun cat. Every time I walked by her yesterday I got a whack to my heel, or a sock grab, or a chase. Once she leaped from the floor to the middle of my back. :shock: That was fun! Bug sought me out a few times yesterday, just looking for some pets and scritches. Of course I had to dish out as many as I could. Elsa was a lap seeker yesterday too. Usually it is Lola that occupies my lap early in the morning. Yesterday Elsa decided it was hers for the taking, so she did. Lola was to busy running marathons to notice. :lol: Lola decided mid-day that a major hurl and barf was in order.... UGH. After the pukus landed everywhere she looked at me, then at the pile with the puzzled look on he face, like "HUH? What was THAT?" Then took off and ran around the house for 30 minutes. Weird, and all is well with her. No clue what that was all about. :lol: :lol: Sure sounds like a solid case of Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am meeting my friend in Seattle later today, for a coffee get-together. The morning will be Breakfast with my son. Great day in the works. SWEET!

Taxes - blech! I see no reason for them to be as complicated as they are. Blech, blech, blech.

Poor Lola and the barf...hopefully it was just an isolated incident for the crazy girl! Frankie has done that "jump on the back" thing, too. Fortunately, she hasn't done it in a long time, but she just about scared the you-know-what out of my brother when she did it to him. And one other time, I saw her prepping for a leap on to my BIL's back - but fortunately I caught it before it happened! Yep, for a while, you definitely could not turn your back on her :lol: !!!

Morning Amy SO SO AGREED on the tax thing... such a pain! So true with Lola too. For a while there she was doing those leaps on my DS's back, from these flying runs and then up to the shoulders. He too never saw it coming. :shock: :lol: THX on today - it should be fun.

Sorry about the barf. I'm glad it was a one time thing and Lola is okay. Crazy kitty jumping on your back. Great pictures. I love the one of the grass with water drops on them.

After you finish your taxes could you start on ours?? Have a great day today having breakfast with your son and coffee in Seattle with your friend.

Rusty says not to worry about Lola today. They will tire her out in curling practice. She sweeps really fast!!

Love those Meadowdale pictures. You could do a photo book on Meadowdale. I'll bet lots of people would be interested in buying it.

Morning Carla Me too on Lola. I have no clue what that was all about, but she is fine today, still being the crazy kitty that she is. :lol: THX too on the pics. I like taking photos of water, and how it looks with other things. There are some very pretty things out there when water gets a hold of them.

It is always so great to go, and breffis with the kid? always fun! THX too on the Meadowdale pics. There have been many a time when I have thought just that - I could do a book on Meadowdale. I've thought about it, it would be kinda cool. Hmmmmm... might look into actually doing that.

taxes... we don't need no stinkin' taxes..... :lol:

I'm ready to start mine, but still don't have all the forms that I'm supposed to have by the end of Jan. "they" are all dragging getting them to me. :roll:

Very nice story this morning, Michelle. Thank you for sharing, and that coffee sounds oh so divine, too! Not to mention extremely caloric, but what the hey, huh? :lol: Need calories to stay warm out there right now.

I hear ya on the taxes. DH and I purchase TurboTax each year, and while I was visiting across the street (weekly visit with our neighbors), he did it and sent it off. IRS won't look at it until January 31st anyway. But, ours are done, and over with for the year. DH would rather get it out of the way, and sent off than to wait. I don't like waiting on taxes, either.

Whoa on the jump to your back! :shock: I had a cat on the farm growing up who used to climb my jeans up to my arms :lol: . I thought it was cute, but my sister didn't when the kitty decided to try it on her...wearing shorts :? Hopefully Lola is feeling fine after the pukus...maybe too much running around on a full stomach ;-) I hope your coffee and breffis dates go well, have a great day Michelle!

Hi Everyone! I hope the day has treat you well. Breffis with my son was fun, it always is. Berry covered french toast was on the menu today. Really good! Things are well with him. Work is going well for him, he seems content enough with the way things are there. They are busy finishing up a new home build, set to be another rental. Guess they need to have all done by this weekend. So all hands on deck. He may have had to go and be a floor sealer today. :shock: :? SO out of his league he says, as he is the office manager. He's been busy working on plans for remodel stuff at his house. He went for the big plan first just to see what it would run, cost wise, and was very pricey, $10K for appliances alone. no way he says, so now he scales it down some, does what he can afford. Exciting times for him. Seattle was nice, always good to connect with Barb. They have finally hired a manager to replace my ex-manager who is retiring. They hired an HR person for a payroll job., and one without any payroll system experience. They run Oracle, which at best can be difficult.... NUTS! not a good hire, imho. oh well, being a retired employee it is not my concern anymore. I wish them the best of luck. I was busy backing up PC video files, for most of the day. It is nice one can just set it to run, insert a CD when needed, but it is taking alot of time. DUH! I have too many vid files. LOL, and DUH again! so at least now I will be able to delete them and free up some needed PC space. WOOT! I will post the Picassa link tomorrow for the photos from breffis.

Hi Rhiannon - I SO AGREE! Who needs stinkin' taxes.... such a hassle. I know on those forms. I don't either... have been bust compiling all that goes into the rest of the stuff. way too complicated here! :roll: THX on today - it was great.

Hi Devon - I know on that barfing.. it was funny on a way. Poor girl didn't quite like what was going down. She looked so sad after she barfed. She has been fin e all day, so YAY! I so agree on that paperwork. BLECH!

HI Angela - hey you are welcome. I know on those coffees... one of these days I will actually try to make one of those.. so so high carb, but what the heck, huh! Good point on the calories required to stay warm. I use Turbo Tax too,k like it alot, it kinds powers me through the areas I am not too savvy on. I too try and get mine done as soon a s I can, Just don;t like having it sitting around waiting to be done. Such a relief when it is completed! THX on today - it was great.

Hi Rachel - oh yes on that back jump. She always seem to do that when I don't expect it. Quite the awakening when she lands right in the middle. :lol: :lol: Silly cat! OMG on your sister and the shorts and climbing cat. OW! THX - she has been fine today. You could be right on the full stomach thing and all that running. It was right after her morning pig-out. ;-) THX on today - all was well, and FUN!
