Toby is starting in better numbers Today. Got a neg. ketone test this morning. He has eaten and now taking a nap. We are waiting for the storm to hit. Got the high winds now will probably lose our power .

Toby is high tonight. I am wondering if I should check him at + 10 and if he is high give .25
of the R insulin? He did pretty good today was mostly in the blues. Pretty wild out doors today got about 20" of snow so far. Oh boy!!! Take Care, Peg and Toby

you can give him R tonight if you want - you know that it's just the normal rise of the end of the cycle, or it could be the beginning of a bounce. either way it would be ok to use R then. Just avoid giving it at a point where the nadirs might coincide.

stay safe and warm! i hope you keep power on - it's so unnerving when you lose power for too long and you've got a diabetic kitty and insulin, etc. to worry about.
