Hi everyone,
Tessie Lou is doing good, staying mostly in yellows, with some blues now. Vet says keep her on 1 unit and talk on Monday.
In the meantime, her little brother, T.J., decided to eat some Asian lilys out of a bouquet DH brought home and had to be rushed to vet Mon. morning. As you probably all know, lillies are deadly for cats, and lethal if not treated within 18 hours of injestion. We thought we had them out of his reach, but he fooled us. Anyway, vet thinks we caught it soon enough, he got charcoal treatment and has been on IV fluids for past two days. He came home last night and vet said blood work shows kidneys A-OK, so far. He's not out of the woods until tomorrow (72 hours from ingestion). I will never have a living plant of any kind in my house again!
Luckily, Tessie Lou is doing real well. Her momma bean, on the other hand, has aged about 10 years in the last two days...
