Today was the first day that Terra ate a whole 5.5 oz can of Wellness! Hooray for Fortiflora and for the folks who recommended it! She acted more or less okay today - no distress, not overly sleepy. Not her old energetic self, but not down and out, either.

Sticking with 3.0 for the next few days. Watching closely. I do want to stay on this forum but have considered Relaxed forum in case I seem too intransigent for folks here (in upping the dose.) I do value the experience informing the advice on this forum.
 
Terra is coming down some, a good thing!

Karen, post where you feel comfortable. The folks here will give the best advice they can for you to make of it what you will. You are the one with the syringe in your hand, the final decisions are yours.
 
Terra's had a nice descent today!!! If you can, try to get a +2 tonight so you can see if she's still sliding down or if she's going to flatten out for you. Keeping her nice and flat will help stop the bouncing. I'm having to deal with that issue myself. Champ is one of the master bouncers here in LL!!!

Forgot to mention that Terra was so hungry at +10 she started eating the dog's kibble. That has never happened before, in 15 years. Since she's never been in the least interested in the dog food, I've always just left their bowl out (sadly, it doesn't work the other way round :sad: .) I am suspecting that some of her recent high numbers may have been not from the dry kitty food I fed her but from some surreptitious snacking on dog food.
