Good Friday Morning, Everyone,
It seemed too early to get up 1/2 hour early this morning (we are gradually transitioning Rusty's PS times so that he can get his PMPS shot on Tuesday, when we have an early curtain at the opera). And the weather today is not helping: rain/ freezing rain and a winter weather advisory for the next 24 hours. The schools are closed all across the North Country because the roads are sheets of ice. I'm glad we don't have to go anywhere today. Our driveway has an inch of solid ice and now rivers of rain are running down over the ice. Last night, when we drove home from the party, the roads were just snowy. We are hoping that we don't get ice build-up when it freezes. We don't need that!!
Rusty is starting the day in green and has lots of energy (after we woke up from taking a nap on the couch). We played with the wand and sack and after I came upstairs to work at my desk he started pouncing on the sack to activate the bird sounds it makes, so of course I had to go back downstairs to continue the game.
Wishing everyone a happy Friday, and continuing to send healing thoughts and vines to Sid, Rocket, Scruffy, and all kitties not feeling well.
