Good Evening, everyone,
We have had a busy day. Rusty ate well (once he got some food he liked: Wellness Core Turkey & Duck). He was tearing around the house early this morning, trying to get us up 15 minutes early. The rest of the day he enjoyed watching light snow falling from his perch over the radiator.
We are heading to NYC tomorrow, so the beans have been getting stuff together. But this afternoon we went out to play in the snow: a wonderful snowshoe hike in the woods near Paul Smiths (at the Visitors Interpretive Center- VIC). There wasn't a lot of snow, but there was enough. The really big snowfall is to our west: lake-effect snow (Lake Ontario) that is in the process of dumping about 3 feet of snow by tomorrow night. We don't expect this to affect our trip, however, since we head east and then south.
Next report will be from the city. Sorry to miss so many condos, but thinking of you all and wishing everyone a great weekend. Tomorrow begins Chinese New Year: the Year of the Rooster. Chef Rusty is excited about the possibilities for Mandarin's OTJ Party menu.
Yo Kitties, I'm going to the Big Apple tomorrow for a few days and invite all to visit me there. We'll do our usual city things, and make a special visit to Chinatown to celebrate the Year of the Rooster. See you there.
