It's been ten days since I've posted a condo. I've been in a kind of blah mood and just haven't been able to get myself to want to "talk" to anyone. I need to snap myself out of it so I'm posting today!! Woo hoo!!

I fattened up Champ's dose a week ago Saturday and he's started really doing well on it these last few days. His numbers this weekend were really awesome and I hope he continues down this path. `His appetite doesn't seem the same as usual. He's been leaving food in his dish on occasion when he usually eats every tidbit and then licks the plate clean. He'll eat it if I hand feed it to him, but I refuse to make that a habit. I did it the first few times because it worried me that he left food, but I stopped doing it and noticed that he would go back to his dish and finish the food within an hour. Maybe he's decided to be a grazer instead of a hoover....now that would be a miracle!! :lol:

I have to get to work, but I'll be back in a couple few hours to visit some condos. I have you all have a marvelous Monday!!!

I'm glad Champ has been doing well on the fattened dose recently. I don't blame you for not wanting to get a habit started with the hand feeding. They sure do learn quickly. I hope today is better for you. :YMHUG:

Hi guys .. looks like champs numbers are doing pretty good today! Mocha leaves some of her food in her bowl, and then comes back anywhere from 3-5 times before she'll finish it .. peter and I just say she's going for a "walk about" :lol: have a great day guys!

Good to see Champ in such nice numbers! Maybe evening his BG out is settling his appetite down too.

Hi Patty, nice to see you! I'm glad Champ is doing so well. He looks good today! I have a hoover some days, and a grazer other days, never predictable :roll: :lol: I hope you have a good day at work! :-D

I'm glad Champ is working that dosecrease...what a gorgeous PMPS!!! Yeah, I think these guys are always coming up with fresh, new ways to demand more attention. In my house, I have to admit they always win...I'm a softy, a sucker, and they're just so darned cute.

Champ has had a really good day!! He's actually eating all his food at each sitting, too. Today was the start of using the Fancy Feast I just bought. I'm wondering if there was something he just didn't like in the last batch of cans. I usually buy his cans at Walmart (price matching them at 50 cents a can from whatever store has a sale on) so I get them as individual cans, not as a box of 12 or 24. About a month ago or so, Target had a sale on their boxed Fancy Feast (the kind with the chicken, beef, and turkey & giblets) so I got a couple boxes of that. Champ really does not like the turkey & giblets, but I figured he could just deal with it since it was a good price for the multipack. Well, that's kinda when his appetite changed and I had to persuade him to finish his food, especially the turkey & giblets (which sometimes made it into the trash because he was NOT going to eat it). Maybe the individual cans have a different consistency or taste than the boxed multipacks, even though they're the same flavor. Champ was VERY happy to see chunky chicken back in his bowl tonight....no leftovers for sure!!

Champ has a discriminating palate and you will have to get him what he likes. Thank you very much!! :lol:

Rusty loves FF T&G. It's his favorite food, and even when the cans seem to vary from batch to batch, he still likes it. (He's a grazer so I can't judge how he likes a food by how much he leaves in his bowl at any one time. but the T&G always is eaten first.)

I'm glad you're back posting. Sometimes it is necessary to take a break, step back, and do other things.
