We're starting off a little better than yesterday. Let's hope we get another nice slide to blue today. Appy isn't great but the cypro definitely helps. A short yard patrol was done and Zener is now napping on the bed with Annebean. Almost time for another test.

Our thoughts are with Angela and DH as they mourn the passing of their sweet Daisy. Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Dyana's J.D., Rhiannon's Shadow, Mariko's Lucy, Mao. Happy Sunday, LL!

Re: 2/26 Zener AMPS 314

Hi Liz & Anne,
Sending many happy-appy vines to Zener.
I hope his appy picks up and his number slides down.
You can do it, Zener!

Well, it looks like Zener did a fake I'm going up, then a haha I'm actually going down  Just to keep you guessing!

I'm sending bunches of appy vines, and I hope to see some blue on your condo later, Zener :-D

Have a great day, guys

I hope Zener gets back to some blues and greens soon. Hopefully his appy has improved today.

Re: 1/26 Zener PMPS 288

Oh Z-man, there is just too much pink and yellow going on today. We gotta get Neko to stop texting you. ohmygod_smile

@Anne - Are you going to Sochi this year? I was on the cross country trails yesterday and saw a number of para athletes, including one Canadian team sit skier I remember watching race at the 2010 Paralympics. He was doing WAY better than I was.

@Liz - Beaver tails are more a eastern Canadian thing. They are usually called Whales Tails on the west coast. ;-)

Re: 1/26 Zener PMPS 288;+3.5 306

Thanks for coming by to check on the mighty Z today. Although we aren't thrilled with the pinks and yellows, it is far better than the color that shall not be named that was showing up lately. The results are still inconclusive on our switch to a new pen, but {{{anti-jinx}}} we are seeing less ugly bounce numbers.

Zener's appy has picked up tonight, thanks to Cypro, and we've used just a touch of Bupe the last two days in the AM cycle when he was having trouble getting up and around. We suspect pain may have been affecting his AM appy. Within an hour of getting the Bupe, he started eating. He's had three Adequan shots and we can tell they are helping and after each one, and it seems to last a bit longer. We have another this week, and then shift to an every other week schedule.

Chief Inspector Crapdash is now certified for an additional duty (or um, dooty) - I spotted Z watering the garden this morning and dashed out with the ketone testing strips to get a test. Liz said CI Crapdash is now a Ketone Cop.

@Wendy & Neko - I am not going to Sochi this year. I don't have an operational role in the Winter Paralympics but can go as a guest. As a guest you get credentials to get into all the venues and access to VIP transport and the Paralympic family lounges (where they have all sorts of great food and beverages) but I have to pay my travel, accommodations and food for the time I am there. Just can't afford it money-wise and time off from work. And how can Sochi top Vancouver and Whistler and the brilliant blue Smurfs? The Canadian Paralympians must be getting in their last bits of training. No shame in getting smoked by them! The Paralympics follow right after the Olympics and we like to refer to the Olympics as the "test event".

Wishing everyone in LL a calm and drama free Sunday evening full of blues and greens. :YMHUG:
