Good morning LL!

4 p's present. I expected to see the red today after all those pretty greens last night. Tarragon earned a decrease last night and I will give it to him tonight. I shot through the bounce this morning. He was a happy purry furry boy this morning. The house was in once piece when I got up, so he much have slept the night away.

Turnup is feeling much better today. DH did speak to the vet yesterday. He wanted us to try pepcid and see if that helped instead of stress her out bringing her in. Since she wasn't vomiting (aside from one plant filled episode) and was still eating, he felt that she might just have had a little tummy ache.

Mason got rid of the large nasty stone last night. Sounds like there might be one or two more smaller ones working their way out. He has decided that cranberry juice is a miracle. Bless his heart. He was trying to be healthier this semester. Instead of mixing his alcohol with soda, he had switched to grapefruit juice. ;-) He has never had grapefruit juice before. After a little research, it says that drinking 4 ounces of grapefruit juice a day increases the chances of kidney stones by 44%. :o That gives me yet one more reason to stay away from grapefruit juice, which I detest. That is the last time he will probably drink it as well.

Hope you all have a great day!!!

Congrats on the dosecrease, but enough of the bouncing Mr T! :? Was that really necessary?

I glad your kids, furred and not, are doing better. :-D :-D ?!?!? on the grapefruit juice! Darn, I do like it. Tell Mason Cosmopolitans are made w/ cranberry juice!

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Hi guys .. congrats on the dose reduction! I hope by tonight tarragon is in a much lower range .. Glad to hear turnup is feeling better, I hope the pepcid works for her .. Ouch on the kidney stones, hope the remaining ones left don't cause him to much pain .. Have a great day guys!

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Morning! YAY on last nights cycle, bummer on the reds. I think the boys planned this... Mannie hit the greens, and we are now on the pink, very high pink floor. Those boys! Nice shooting through the bounce - I would have too. Congrats Mr T on the reduction! Now hold onto it, OK?

 on the grapefruit juice thing... I LOVE grapefruit juice... I am glad though that mason is feeling better. That has got to be not alot of fun....

I hope Turnup is feeling better too,

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Hey T. you've got a bounce to clear today! Glad that Turnup is feeling better and that it doesn't sound like something to worry about.
Grapefruit juice? Who would have thought?? Good thing there is cranberry juice!

Have a great day, guys!

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Great news for Tarragon, Turnup, and Mason!! Hopefully Li'l T will clear that bounce ASAP. He is predictable in that sense, isn't he?

Congrats to Mason for trying to be a bit healthier this semester  ! (I so miss my college days sometimes!!) After DH's stone, I remember reading that orange juice can increase the chances of a recurrence, too...although his was so long ago I'm a bit sketchy on the details. Maybe there's something about the citric acid. I sure hope Mason is done with stones, once those last little ones make their way out!

Have a great day!

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Get down off the ceiling, Mr. T!!! Glad you shot through this bounce, cuz it's one heck of a number this morning!!!

Poor Mason!!!! I do think it's funny, though, that his idea of healthier living is mixing his alcohol with grapefruit juice.   While cringe from the pain he must have been experiencing, I have to seriously lol because THAT'S FUNNY!!!

Have a terrific day, Melissa!!!

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

That is eating healthy and living right for a 21 year old college student.   He had to go up a size in pant waist over Christmas break so he is being more health conscious.   To be fair, he has also cut out fried foods and is eating more vegetables and fruit. Man, I miss college.

Amy - It said grapefruit juice is the worst. Orange juice, tomatoes, tomato sauce, etc. is bad too. Pretty much anything with acid in it.

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Congrats on the dose crease!!!! Tarragon you did good & now come on down to a nice blue floor-K?
I swore to you last night that pepcid is a miracle drug & fixed Moonie up during her tummy thing very quickly! Good stuff-glad Turnup is feeling better!
Poor Mason, Glad the big one is out & hope they are all gone--Those stones are nasty stuff, my DH almost passed out from them with me to catch him :o -He's a foot taller than me & a big guy
But he was OK & it all passed quickly!
Vodka & cranberry juice very healthy
Hope all is well- Hugs & Love from us!!

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Congrats on the reducie Mr. T.! And I'm glad Turnup seems to be doing better. Major ouch on the kidney stones! Cranberry juice does make a nice mixer.

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Glad to hear Turnup is doing much better today! I've gotta agree with everyone else, pepcid really is a miracle drug!

Ouch on the kidney stones, i was cringing just reading about Mason's ordeal. Tell the boy of yours to drink beer! He is a college student, what is he doing drinking grapefruit juice anyway?

Congrats on the reduction Tarragon! Please come down a little....ok?

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Too funny on Mason's 'grapefruit diet'.   I agree that cranberry juice could be his new mixer, great with vodka! Beer and wine are supposed to protect against kidney stones, too!

Tarragon, get off that yucky floor! (Bring Zener with you!) Congrats on the reduction, though :-D

Re: 1/26 Tarragon AMPS 435

Congrats to you and Mr. T on the dosecrease and hope he breaks the bounce I didn't know that about grapefruit juice and alcohol. It's a good thing I drink straight wine! Ouch though, as that must have been painful. So glad Turnup is okay and we've learned what to do from Turnup's experience when it's a non toxic plant. Thank goodness for pepcid.
