Hi Everyone,
That was a quick trip! We took a long look at the weather prognosis and decided to beat it outta there while it was still possible. So we packed up and left the city by 9:30 A,M. It was a good decision. The city is shut down tonight-- no transit, major roads closed, even the NYS Thruway from NYC to Albany has been closed. Our dentist cancelled our appointment. He lives in New Rochelle, exactly in the storm track.
So our good traveler, Rusty, had a chance to show us what a terrific traveler he is. It was a good trip. Here in the Adirondacks it is clear and very cold. Tonight we are going to watch the episode of Downton Abbey that we taped. Veggging out. Consecutive 6+ hour drives are a lot!
Hope everyone affected by it is staying safe in the storm,
Ella & Rusty
Yo Kitties, so sorry we couldn't do our NY City adventure. But the "rain" (snow) date will be in early March. Stay tuned!
