Checking in on Munchie. She had a bad pancreatitis attack over the weekend- worst one she's had yet
(I'm on the panc listserve and have reviewed what to do to help her with that.) She's doing better now but numbers are pretty bouncy. I increased her to 1.25 on the 21st which was in the middle of the attack. The attack winded down around midnight on the 22nd and her numbers show it. I recorded a 204 (slept through my alarm- wah) the next evening..but feel pretty sure she got a blue because the AMPS the next morning was very bouncy 418 and then the evening cycle after that was too (similar to her 17th PM bounce where she kept going up). Tonight will be the 6th cycle after this most recent bounce.
Question: if it can take up to 6 cycles for the bounce to clear, do you hold the dose on the 7th cycle to see if the numbers return to a good range---or is the thought that the 6th cycle should show "bounce-free" numbers?
Thanks.
