Yesterday was GO NEW JUICE day. :mrgreen: It has been nice to see the general improvement in Mannie's numbers since I changed pens few cycles ago - ti has been a slow descend: yellows to blues to greens. WOO HOO! It is really nice to see him sporing a green jacket. Yesterday was a really nice slide into the greens. Now if he can just hold onto this. Right Mannie? We can be a blue and green kitty, yes? Lubs ya big guy!, truly - no matter what color you are. cat_pet_icon but.... I sure wish we could have avoided that "B" this morning... :roll:

All is well in MannieLand. DGS is back, and Mannie knew it. Greetings when he arrived: a quick once over to make all parts were as they should be, proper smells were present, proper vocalizations were heard. Then he took off for nap time. :lol: :lol: Lunch was also shared: chicken! Nicholas made sure that Mannie got a piece or two. It just is so funny - Mannie sits there ever so still and just waits. Slowlyyyyyy this tiny arm stretches out, ker-plunk went the fuds, straight into the mouth of the Manster. It never even hit the floor. :shock: :razz: :lol: :lol: I just love the smile on DGS's face when he sees Mannie - it just lights up his whole face. very cool. Best buds. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Normalcy in MannieLand..

have a great day everyone! I am on DGS duty today, but only for the afternoon. Nicholas has an appt with a children's eye DR, routine kids exam. So I will have him in the afternoon only. I wonder if I can squeeze in an adventure in that amount of time.... :lol: :razz: :razz: But of course I can!

Hey everyone!!! WOOT!!!!!!!!!! HAWAII! What fun that was. We gots to do that again. Ya know - I think that today I wanna go river rafting. That would be so cool... I wonder where. Gotta have a beach thing too so we can have a grillin' cookout for lunch time. What'd'ya guys think? anybody got sumthin' they wanna do? We could just find a pool and float on floaties and sip niptinis all day... ~~ Mannie
uhhhh.... OK, I gots to edit this. Tess is right - it is way too cold for the rivers... what was I thinking???? SO: beach fun in CA today instead. WOO HOO, and let's do it!

And completely OT: here are a couple of pics from yesterday's outing with nicholas to the aquarium. What a great place that is - he just loves it there. They have a new baby otter now - born 10 days ago. How great it was to see mom and the baby.

Hi Ann - so agreed - what a nasty bounce this AM - well, could see it coming with his +6 last night. :? well down soon I hope. Yep on DGS and Mannie - what a pair! There is a park nearby by the place I pick him up at today - think we may go there. The rains seem to be stopping, so hopefully good to go!

What an awesome cycle Mannie had yesterday!!! It's just about time I got a new pen for Champ so I hope we have the same improvement. I think I'll pick it up today!!

I'm sure Mannie is so happy to have his buddy back in the house!!! I think Nicholas has now officially been trained as a cat lover. I see cats in his future for sure!!

Hi Michelle, wonderful pics of Nicholas at the aquarium. I love the shot of the mama sea otter with her baby on her back. That's the way the loon parents carry their chicks, too.

Hi Patty - that it was! Amazing what fresh juice will do. and yes - there is no doubt that Nicholas is a cat guy. He really loves the kitties - he has them at home two: three there. and thanks - DGS And I will - there is a park with a beach 5 minutes from his appt place.

Hi Linda - I so agree with that statement - stoopid liver! Mannie got the "tell Mr Liver the score" lecture this morning. -- and could be - his dad just loves baseball!

Hi Ella - It was such a treat to see the baby otter. Such a cute little fluff ball. It was so interesting to watch her care for him - she didn't miss anything, and corrected things she didn't like him doing. Quite the show. and thanks - slowly the rains are stopping - so I remain hopeful. We won't have much time anyways so I may just go ahead and take him anyways. Umbrellas work great. :lol:

What gorgeous greens for Mannie yesterday......wow...lovely cycle last night and you did a super job with his food mgmt.

Glad to hear all is well in Mannieland and you are having more adventures and fun with Nicholas. Love the sea otters pic and DGS with the anemones!! What an education he is getting!!!

Beach time it is!!! Tomorrow is going to be sunny and 75 here....we can have a pool party!!!! Maybe a little desert hiking and then relax by the pool with some Niptecates and quail dip!!

Hi Marje - Yesterday was great - today was predictable. I had hoped he wouldn't bounce so high, but so it is. Thx on the fuds mgmt - i think ti went OK, maybe could have cur back on the carb content sooner, but all in all he did ok. and THX on DGS - it was a good day yesterday - he really loves that place, so I try to take him often.

Yay! Vole-e-ball was so fun, and the weather was perfect. My bean said it was nearly 80º. I think the exercise was good for our BGs , our beans seem happier tonight. --- Tess
