Had my big squattin' pink toad all day yesterday, ALMOST there this morning too. I think this is still a bounce from day before yesterday's beautiful numbers - one day of good, two days of bad... :roll: He thought I was trying to starve him this morning - acted like he hadn't eaten in days, so hungry when numbers are like this. Still picky but hungry. Other than that, he's feeling well, all P's in place, wallpaper appropriately curled....

We've decided since we've moved Miss Boots into the new room, we also need to change her name. Why? Miss Boots originally belonged to the MeanBeans across the street, she's the one I took, refused to give back AND went ballistic over the whole thing. Her intro from KT's profile:

Boots, a small tuxedo, born in 2006 also, taken away from horrible beans that were leaving her outside where she was literally freezing. When I found her in a snow storm, her nose and mouth were almost completely iced over, she was starving and no one had bothered to check on her. I brought her inside, got her warm and full, rearranged my new shop and moved her in there. I blew up at the neighbor when, after two weeks, they STILL hadn’t looked for her.

We told them that she was adopted when they asked about her A YEAR LATER. Since she stayed in our shop, she was never seen by MeanBeans. Now that she's moved and we're going to try to break those bad habits, there's a chance she'll be noticed. It's been long enough now that they won't recognize her if we don't call her 'Boots'. As she's aged, she's developed a little white spot on her forehead that wasn't there the last time they saw her. DH has just been calling her 'Boo' but I'm leaning toward 'Socks'. Want to find something near the 'Boots' sound as that's what she's used to....am I terrible? I just don't want to go thru that fight again....but I will to protect her just like I did when Sir Leo 'ran away' for several hours when her former 'owner' that abandoned him came to get her stuff.

Hugs back to Sniggles from Grams (Anne is taking dictation). Liz says those lazy cats are on the other bed on the heating pads and she doesn't have any kitties with her. :roll:
