Look at ALL those greens! Good work, you two.

Here's hoping she holds steady and maybe even bumps up a teensy bit so Dad won't worry and can get some much-needed rest tonight.

Thank you all! I’m on the struggle bus, this is a really weird virus. Everything comes in waves. I thought the fever broke but now I’ve got chills again.

I feel really bad about all Bell’s ear pokes but I feel they are necessary for how low she is. She’s such a good cat to put up with it. She has been cleaning her plate which she normally doesn’t do.

I didn’t got to urgent care today. To be honest I was too exhausted to even think about leaving the apartment. It’s been rough but I’ll be on the mend soon enough.

So sorry you’re sick Seth. You've gotten great advice for Bell and I know you will do what you need to for her.
Prayers for your Mom. You’re an awesome son in your concern for her well being.

I would tell my sons to get a primary care doctor, so I’ll be that nagging mom and suggest you to do the same. It’s always helpful if you have an established doc if you ever need one. (Even if you only go 1x a year for a physical and have a record with them.)

Just my 2 cents. Hope you don’t mind.
But in a pinch, use urgent care!
And drink lots of fluids and rest as much as you can.
Sending lots of good wishes for a fast recovery and safe surfing for Bell :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I don’t mind at all. Last time I tried it was impossible to even find a PCP accepting patients. But it has been awhile since I tried again. It would be nice to have someone in cases like this for sure .

I haven’t been able to get her to let me poke the inner sides yet. But I do swap ears and work up and down on the outside. I’m still a terrible poker :p

I must have poke Kona's ear a thousands times... can you image having an outdoor cat that doesn't like their ears touched at all. I'm so, so blessed Kona is such a good patient.

I hope you feel better....do all the things, take shots of apple cider vinegar, take zinc!, do elderberry tinctures under your tongue, 2,000IU of vitamin D, lots of raw broccoli (studies show it helps), and my favorite for all colds... MAD SPICY food like fresh reaper and ghost peppers, capsasin kills COVID. ;)
