Happy to report that Darwin is still doing very well, and handling the pilling and liquid antibiotics remarkably well. I started the S. Boulardi (1/4 capsule twice daily) yesterday, and he is eating it right up in his food. I read to separate from antibiotics, so I have been giving it at his +3/4 snacks. Hoping it helps! (When should I know if he's tolerating it/to increase to 1/2 capsule?)
We've had heartbreak at home this week as we lost our dog, Osa, to cancer after an 11 month battle. She'd been doing quite well, but just took a sudden turn for the very worst, and let us know she was tired and it was time to rest. She had been with my partner for 11 years (with us both for the past 6 years), and it's been a heartbreaking loss - you never feel prepared! I think all the other furkids are feeling the loss as well.
Rest in Peace sweet girl

You know she knows how much you love her and she will be there waiting to greet you one day.
