What a crazy morning! Liz got up for her usual morning care after being encouraged by Zener that he was hungry and the pill pocket with his before breffis meds was not sufficient for a hungry kitty. ;-) We love it that his appy is on the upswing and he asks for food!
Within minutes of his breffis - scarf and barf! 
Of course, it still upsetting when he pukes as that was what started off the not eating, syringe feeding, to the vet for ultrasound episode. So, after a minute of post-puke post-traumatic stress (PPPTS), Liz gave him his pepcid with no pill pocket and a little water. Isn't she smart? After about 20 minutes she gave him a small amount of food and all stayed down. He was acting fine, so she gave another small amount and with almost an ounce on board, gave his am shot. All in all, it was only 30 minutes later than our usual time. She had an early meeting so gave me the morning report and had to leave before getting up his condo.

I took over then and all seems good. He is sleeping, stretching, purring and eating. His numbers are starting down a little bit. Looked like last night's cycle was pure flat pink, so perhaps the bounce of yesterday's blue will not be long lasting. I'm off to tbp in about an hour.

@Julie - I missed all the meter turmoil while in Germany and Liz is catching me up. You point out the most important thing and we need to remember this more often than we do - the same kitty.
