Happy Friday!

I feel so bad!! Shasta woke me up w/ her usual mischief last night and when I went to move her from the night stand, I kind of dropped her...well, I was still holding on to her, but couldn't get a good grip (and I was still kind of asleep!) I felt so bad. It's not like I dropped her from the roof of a 40 ft. building, but goodness, I feel bad! She seems to be doing ok this morning. She's eating well, peed (and pooped yesterday) in the LB, purred last night (before bed time) and preened.

Today is an all day rehearsal for my All-County Chorus students (18 of them). So I will not be in my classroom, but I have a great sub and great kids...should be a good day. Shoulder/arm/neck is still poopy, but not letting it stop me!

Liz-one of the PE teachers at my school also does PT. If we can ever work out some time(s), she's offered her help. I'm totally in for PT...massage therapy...chiropractics...heck, I'd even go for acupuncture! Just wish insurance thought those were valuable health benefits.

Libby-thanks for checking in us, last night. I was so tired before bed that I didn't play w/ Shasta to try to wear her out. Yeah, I paid for it at 4am! Maybe tonight!! Hope you guys are doing well!

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday! Blessings to all!!!

Poor Shasta, but I bet she is fine. It is nice to see Shasta come back from that +1. Good girl!

It sounds very busy there today, and I hope all goes well. Enjoy the time!

Oh poor poor kitty. ohmygod_smile I'm sure she has already forgiven you. Sounds like a fun day for you today. I hope you are feeling better soon. Insurance is silly about that stuff. It makes me mad because it can save them money in the long run. Have a great day Deborah!

Good evening all! Hi Michelle, Michelle, & Melissa!

Shasta's in the yellows and doesn't seem to really want to come down much from them. Don't know what's going on with her numbers. Miss Priss is sitting in my lap; got some purrs earlier...now I'm getting moping/sad face. :-| grr_red

My students had a good day at All-County rehearsal. I was about 20 minutes late getting home tonight and giving Shasta her shot. When I got home, my garbage can was in the middle of my driveway and with a note under it. After I parked, I went to see what the note was about and noticed that there was a very large bird sitting on the horse fence about 20 feet away from me. The note was from a passerby, asking me to help the injured pelican! So, I called my land-lady/neighbor/horse owner to ask what she wanted to do about Mr. Pelican. When she got home, we walked over to survey him...he's alive (at least for the moment), but definitely not feeling well. When Sue got close enough to him, he snapped his bill at her a few times to chase her away, but did not physically chase her away. We're hoping that he can withstand a night from possible predators (esp. coyote). Sue tried calling Animal Rescue/Control, etc...but at 6:30pm on a Friday night...not too many responses. Poor thing.

Tomorrow is my students' performance with the All-County Chorus...dress rehearsal and concert...then home and veg. Hope everyone had a great Friday!!
