Aftnoon! No poo from Moonie yet, but we are going to vet tomorrow and he is going to show me how to give her an enema...Also Barb(& Tuffy) has been doing much research for me & found out several options:
ie: suppositories, pet ema, colace...Vet is going to do some research for us & we will see him tomorrow..
Moonie doesnt seem at all upset not pooping, and all of us think the stress of all this has a part in her pooplessness! She is eating, affectionate, & sleeping peacefully as a cat can!

With DH going away next week, I was so fearful of something happening to her..Even my contractor has offered to help, if Moonie should need any help...I cant even pick up her carrier!!
But now I feel better, knowing that she will have been seen & she has alternatives..

Will try to get the stress level down here, that will help a lot!!

Hi Roni, sorry I missed your condo yesterday as I logged off early. That's great the Vet will show you how to do the enema at home and less stress on Moonie. Sending sweet Moonie lot of vines and prayers for some good options. I'm so glad you're feeling better, and Moonie is happy and eating. I think we get so stressed when they won't poo, and then they feel it. Lots of hugs and love from Mags and me.

Moonie has been thru an awful lot as of late ... since change is always stressful....
Hope you find a good solution that helps lower Your stress....
especially since it's not over yet....

At least you have each other...
and that's a blessing to count...

Hi guys! Sorry for the no poo yet, sending tons of poo vines your way. Glad you are coming up with alternatives to help Moonie with the poo problem and with DH being away. Good to hear that Moonie isn't worried about the no pooping and is happy! Take care Roni and have a great rest of the day!

Hi Roni,
I read somewhere that the cat's colon is designed to hold the poop for 3 days or even more; lots of cats don't poop every day. A lot depends on what they are eating. Good luck with your vet tomorrow. I hope that his "tutorial" will help set your mind at ease for when Brad will be gone next week. How nice of your contractor to offer to help you with Moonie.

Try to be stressless tonight and see if Moonie doesn't pick up on it!

She is eating well & right now is in her cat bed... She was pretty rainbow colors today too!
Many cats were high today, something in the cold air???

Good info from Ella - love learning so much about poop here on FDMB :lol: ! I'm glad to hear Moonie is feeling like a happy cat despite the poo-less-ness. Sending vines your way, and don't forget to lean on your LL family while Brad is gone next week!

Good you have a backup for help while Brad is gone.
 
Nice +3 for the Moonster, she came down quite a bit-I will be up a little longer, she has food out, and all I have to do is syringe her lactulose angry(2)_cat Now I throw a shirt over her to keep those claws away!
Hope Tomorrow will be a Poo day one way or the other!!!

Sending poo poo vines to Moonie! Ive been giving Miralax & smashed pumpkin to Rosy. Noticed that the pumpkin really helped with her pressie.
Is it cold, Roni? Maybe Moonie too tense? Heaters also dry up the air at home & making the stool too dry. Hope Moonie will work it out befor the vetty visit.
