Finally we have little low PS:bighug:. Her follow up was today, her vet was happy from the healing. There is little swelling but the vet said not to worry and it suposed to heal totally within 10 to 14 days. I asked her for some pain killer but she said that no need for that after 3 days.

I want to take an advice about giving Meme vitamin supplements, the vet told me that her lab work is excellent and she does not need any supplements.

But with her age i think that i have to give her supplements, any advise??

Is she eating better today? I'm glad the surgery went so well. I don't have much advice to give in the way of supplements, until recently, I didn't give any to my cats. But I've heard as a general overall good thing, probiotics and omega 3 are safe and overall supportive.

Yes she is eating little better,

And as you said the vet told me that if i want to give her supplements then she recommend fish oil( omega 3) but after her labs she said for now everything within normal and no need for any suplements, but i have a multivitamin paste and i need to know if i can give it to her as an additional nutrition.

Do you have a copy of her latest labs that you could post on her ss? Those of us with experience in reading labs would need that to advise. I only used pain medication for a couple of days after Max’s dental and after the kittens were spayed so I agree with your vet on that.

They will email me the lab result shortly and i will post it on her SS.

+3 145 :(:(:(

I usually do not check in between shots after her dentals because i alwsys got high numbers but when i saw this nice PS today i said maybe .

Most adult cats can benefit from an Omega 3 fish oil supplement. I don’t know what you can get but I use Nordic Naturals Omega Pet 3. I’m just linking that one, in case you can’t get it, so you can see what it contains, etc. This is the one my vet likes us to give. If you start Omega 3s, start low and build up so she doesn’t get diarrhea.

If her labs are good, I see no reason to give multivitamins if she’s getting a balanced diet, which I assume she is. The majority of “vitamins” on the market today are synthetic and not necessarily regulated as to how they are formulated.

I’d also check her at least mid cycle so you can see if she’s coming down. I’m glad the dental is behind you and she’s doing well!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you Marje for checking on us, i will test her at mid cycle but i am sure it will be high also.

And now i know why this 145 comes, she just throgh up. I think it is from the antibiotics.

Poor baby!!! Can your vet prescribe some cerenia or ondansetron (zofran) to help her with the nausea from the antibiotics?
