I am just baffled by these numbers the past week. We were doing so well and he even earned a reduction not too long ago. I'm going back to work pt and won't be able to test as much during the day. So going back to uncertainty is just.. sigh.
Anyone see anything I'm missing? Is this just how it is? Is my dosing ok? I'm going out of town at the end of next week for the 1st time since he was diagnosed. And I was going to drop his dose to be safe. And now his numbers are just confusing me.
Any expert advice would be welcomed. ♡

She’s just bouncing. Why are you not taking .25 increases and decreases? With the green nadir you can hold 1.25 for 10 cycles and depending on the numbers longer so tonight is just the second cycle. Why aren’t you getting any earlier tests during the day? Not all cats nadir at +5-7. I also see reductions when she hasn’t dropped under 50. To stabilize you need stretches of normal numbers, not just the nadir.
As for a vacation dose when do you leave and for how long? Will anyone be testing her or just shooting? If testing will it be only amps and pmps ?

Thank you. I was just trying to make small changes to tweak his dose, and at marks on the syringe where it was easy for me to be consistent.
I just wasn't always around early in his cycle in the morning. It's easier for me to get more tests in the evenings.
I'll be gone 2/4-2/9. My pet sitters will be visiting twice a day and just getting amps and pmps. They said they are happy to change the dose based on what those numbers are if i want them to.

We need t decide on a dose before you leave because you can’t base the dose on the amps/pmps. It could be high from a bounce. We would want to pick the dose a couple days before you leave so ask on 2/1.
