My dh was up all night (literally) on conference calls, so he wasn't at his best when he tested Cinco this am. He said he retested, and that the first test was actually higher. confused_cat I have no clue what that was all about. Cinco seems fine this morning, eating everything he could get his mouth on and moving around the room more freely than before. He still slinks somewhat, but I think that is because he's still not comfortable with the blindness and never sure where Harvey is. I have noticed the last couple of days that he seems to be walking on back paws more often - not his haunches. The Zobaline may be helping! (cautious cheer) He's not happy right now because after I gave him his pred eye drops and his AB, the dh got up and decided to trim Cinco's nails. Poor, tortured kitty. :lol:

Meant to do a dosecrease this am, but the dh was on the conference call all evening and I didn't get the chance to tell him. I forgot to leave him a note. If we stay home tonight, we'll do it at pm. Otherwise we'll do it tomorrow am.

Hi Tricia! Thanks for visiting us yesterday. You made me laugh with your gambling story, I think if you can admit it, you're ok :lol: Isn't the saying if you call yourself crazy, you really aren't because you are clearly still thinking straight? ;-) I hope you can prove DH wrong someday :-D (PS, yuk on the all night conference calls! :roll: I hope he can catch a nap now)

Well, Cinco looks like he's on a slide down :cool: . Poor guy, getting all the hated treatments. On the upside, at least they are all done for now :lol: I'm glad he's moving easier and his appy is great, these vitamins and supplements take so long to us beans, but are worth it. Hopefully you manage to do the dosecrease tonight! Have a great Caturday!

I'm glad Cinco is moving around more freely and walking better. That's great news. Hopefully he'll slide down for you soon.

I think it must be very tough to loose sight especially if your a kitty. It helps when you are loved this much though!
Cinco red is bad bad bad! Gives mom a headache! :-D Looks like the slide is happening though.

You're welcome, Linda. That's what we're here for - to give and get support, and I've received a lot of it, so I want to return the favor whenever I can.

Cinco decided to just park on that low pink number. Not sure why. He still seems to be more alert and his appetite is, as always, very very good. We bumped him up to 1.75 tonight. I am really getting a kick out of watching him find his way around (when it's not making me feel sad). It's almost like he counts his steps sometimes - he just knows where to turn, etc. He still makes the same mistake every night when he's going from the kitchen to the living room - he overshoots and ends up in the front hall. Sometimes he walks all the way to the front door and then comes back, but tonight it seemed like he figured it out after a few steps, and he turned around and came back to the living room. One of these days maybe he'll just turn in when he's supposed to without the extra steps, although actually, he could use the exercise! :lol:

The Rescue Remedy came today and I put some in Harvey's dinner. We want to trim his nails, so I thought this would be a good test. We'll see if it works...

We are playing the old married couple (which we are) and sitting home tonight, watching DVDs. I am headed down the street now to pick up some Chinese take out. Hope you all are having at least that much fun! :-D

So nice to hear that Cinco is walking better and his appy is good! :-D
Chinese take out and movie at home sounds nice! My favorite kind of night.
