Thanks for the sympathy...makes me feel much better!!! Yesterday was just one of those days where you want to get in bed, pull up the covers, and stay there indefinitely!!!

Sleepy he may be...but still bringing that BG down in sheer "Checkers Style" :-D

I have voluntarily confined myself to the couch, as my temping at the mental health facility
let me know how TOTALLY out of shape I am!

I've never been this sore in my LIFE :o
and to make matters worse, they were so happy with all I got done...
they want me to come back :lol: :lol:

OK now, Checks, that drop wasn't too fast , how about evening it out for a while.Nice on the +3, all we can do is love them back when they bounce. We do all we can, but they are cats after all.

This day didn't go so well. I gave him about 2 tablespoons of boiled hamburger meat at +3, for his treat, and he just started going back up. My mind is telling me that pure protein (& fat), can't raise bg, but it happend all three times he had hamb crumbles. It just has to be coincidence......right?

I shoulda used the Presto meter, instead of ReliOn.....it gives lower numbers. :-D

Oh Checkers! What are you doing up there? Tarragon loves hamburger but it doesn't seem to raise his BG. Hmmmmm. Maybe just an off day. I hope he comes down for you. Have a great night Barb!
 
What a nice drop there Checks! I usually give Moonie chicken or turkey treats, but I have given her beef, usually steak, but she doesnt always finish the little bit I give --Checks may just be sensitive to
hamburger :roll: :? -No barbeQ burgers for you Checkers!!--
I havent experienced much of an increase with pure protein, but ECID--

oh, barb...I wasn't very clear here...
I was sent there to help with cleaning and then work in the kitchen :-D :-D

the only counseling i did was to tell a friendly hulk of a patient to stop calling me his "Sweet Lil Huckleberry Pie" :shock:
 
Hi Barb - sorry to be do late in visiting. Looks like checks had a decent cycle. now that is weird on the hamburger... Mannie eats that on occasion too. Noe I want to pay more attention to his BG's when He gets it. I don;t always test after he's had it... interesting!
